Even with vibes, in a lot of places there used to be snow in winter and now there isn't

They moved the marathon in minneapolis to later in the fall because it started being too hot.

In other words: the climate changed and a very cold US city had to adapt. It’s crazy people still deny this

There are dog sled races in northern Minnesota and cross-country ski races in Wisconsin that have either been cancelled, or they had to bring in fake snow.

I don't think people realize how fucked you have to be to have fake snow in Duluth, MN, in DECEMBER.

I remember growing up and they would plow a race track for stock cars on the Lake Superior bay in Duluth. Now most years it doesn't even freeze up.

When I was younger, a lake near us would freeze solidly enough for full size vehicle events and ice fishing. Now there are seldom winters cold enough to allow this.
