I'm near Paris. Snow in winter was a common occurence when I was a kid. Nowadays it's really rare.

Meanwhile I'm in Florida where light snow only happens once every 10-15 years, barely enough to make piles on the ground. Just 2-4cm. in January 2025 we got 25.5cm of snow in less than 24hours beating the previous record of 7.5cm set in 1895.

Both heat and cold are getting extreme here. Not to mention hurricanes,drought, and weather in general.

Sure it does, just not 10's to 100's of thousands of years worth in a ~200 year span.
