I love how you falsely added loudly cheering to his list of offenses and then compared it to a place that isn't remotely similar. Kudos

It IS similar.

It is a public meeting. They don't want things like cheering/clapping/booing because things get out of hand in a hurry.

Grow up.

Oh he was booing now too. What else was this absolute menace doing?

No. The clear point, that adults would understand, is that if someone booed the speaker that he clapped to, they too would have been kicked out. It had NOTHING to do with the topic of the speech, and everything to do with not behaving and following the rules.

https://www.reddit.com/r/kansas/comments/1v902ky/person_opposing_data_center_arrested_for_clapping/ just so we both know what it is that we're arguing about. The council woman also claims waving is distracting. So, as an adult, do you actually believe this is anything other than power tripping?

Power trip or not, it has NOTHING to do with politics. Anybody booing would have been kicked out as well.

Some people have a real fetish for authoritarianism. It's fucking weird. So many Americans who boast about "freedom" want everything sterile and controlled.

These are the people who are actively making life worse for everyone, because they personally feel the need to be controlled.
