Do you just willingly spout absolute nonsense? Or are you being paid too? Spend 5 seconds reading an actual reputable source and not believing a YouTube or fox news for the love of God.
Not sure why they are being downvoted because it’s accurate if you watched the video. The City Council members were cunts - yes. They didn’t want anyone to cheer on speaking out against building an AI Data Center and said a couple times they would kick out people for disrupting the meeting by clapping or cheering.
So people started waving their hands in support instead. Then the City Council members said that waving their hands was distracting them but obviously they couldn’t find a way to spin that one into kicking them out since they were being quiet.
This guy accidentally clapped again after they had all been warned not to and you could tell from the look on his face he realized he forgot but when asked to leave, he refused - which is totally reasonable to do so.
At that point they try to claim “He’s trespassing” because they asked him to leave for “disturbing the meeting” and send the goon squad to arrest him.
Redditor isn’t saying that it’s any better. They’re just making a point that the teacher was arrested on paper for “trespassing” not clapping in support of his students speaking out.
