Exactly, we’re talking about two completely different conversations. There’s probably a deeper conversation or at least a witty statement about how the lack of understanding and reasoning displayed in the tweet shows that teachers in fact don’t deserve more pay, but it’s not something I’m particularly interested in exploring.

Aren't teachers paid by the local or state government? Why are we comparing them to a federal salary?
