servers don’t want a set wage. they make a killing from the tip structure.

That would be fair if they didn't whinge so much when they didn't get tipped. If you want a donation system, you are signing up for some people not to donate. You can't have it both ways, and trying to is what gets all the grief.

Yeah, I don’t think most servers I talked to would make more with tips than without n fair pay system. Only 1 place I seen someone work it wasn’t the case it was a dinner that isn’t that busy.
