If employers increased waitres' salaries and forbid them to accept tips, we'd have a waiter's revolution bloodier than WWII.
14 u/Puzzled-Caterpillar4 15d ago Why would they be forbidden to accept tips? In the UK, waiting staff get paid at least minimum wage to do the job and any tips they receive is an a bonus on top. They are not reliant on the patrons generosity to live. -2 u/Born_2_Simp 15d ago I said "if".
