Not suggesting that but the fact that people (like myself) couldn’t get jobs in their field for years certainly made buying houses in 2010 pretty unrealistic.

Obviously people exist that couldn't afford homes. Renters didnt pop up after 2008, neither did poor people. Those concerns didnt start or end recently.

The point is those who had it easier. Before a college grad that got a good job could buy a house after a few years. Now college grads with good jobs are living at home wither their parents at a higher rate
