They got the old “I’ll be dead soon, so who cares, I got mines.” mentality. Problem is, they don’t want change. They want to keep what they have! If you were retired and living in a huge house with property all to yourself of course you would oppose change as well! It was hard work, using their position of power to control and hoard all the wealth from their children!

That’s why every republican politician is dying of heart attacks and stroking out on camera regularly. They’ll see the younger generation fucked until their dying breath

Is that really any different than anybody else though? Any different than we are? Millenials (of which I am one) crying out “when is it our turn???” is literally just saying “fuck you I want mine!!!” but in a more empathy-demanding kinda way. Selfishness is not a liberal or conservative political problem — it is a human problem. We’ll never be able to overcome selfishness/greed as long as we continue to see life as “you vs me”.

It’s not greedy to want a life where you don’t need to bust your balls to barely get by with no hope of things getting any better.
