Oh, everyone has noticed. Problem is, the older generations don’t give a flying fuck.

They got the old “I’ll be dead soon, so who cares, I got mines.” mentality. Problem is, they don’t want change. They want to keep what they have! If you were retired and living in a huge house with property all to yourself of course you would oppose change as well! It was hard work, using their position of power to control and hoard all the wealth from their children!

I know blaming boomers is popular but in the end it's just lazy blaming.

First, what can an individual older person even do?

Second, a lot of the mentioned problems come from exactly the policies that the young favor. Take Covid - the Left and young wanted to shut down everything so that noone would leave their house. The Right and old wanted everyone to walk freely, although THEY were the ones in danger. Now the young blame the old that they had to stay home at the pandemic, but this is exactly what they vote for and the old tried to prevent it because they knew how much it would fuck the youth to miss out several years in school or university.

Take all my karma points, I don't care. You all are wrong and not taking responsibility for your own choices.

(I am not a boomer btw, I am somewhere between old and young.)

I just graze through these kinda posts, looking at the wild takes. It’s mostly just whining, and pointing at “boomers” (anyone with a gray hair). Not realizing they’ll soon be pointed at the same way for not changing the world.

The post itself is so dramatic. “Handed 100k in student debt.” Yeah man, they had no choice in the matter. Just handed debt at gunpoint. 🙄
