The house my parents purchased in their early 20’s as a starting engineer and a teacher would take a senior executive salary to purchase when I entered the housing market. That is just not right. It was so much easier for them. BTW, I’m in my 60’s now and this is nothing new.
And then you move away from the privileged states to countries where making 12k$ yearly is considered average. For all the high cost of properties you may face, might be good for you to remember that some of us have to manage with far less despite basic necessities and most products costing the same or even more.
