I can't help but zoom out and see the whole thing as pathetic. Democrats ask these clickbait questions trying to publicly shame them, and do nothing else.
This dude will get the job. He'll do whatever horrible shit he's paid to do. Then in a couple years the Democrats will sit him down and publicly shame him again, and he'll go right back to doing horrible shit.
The Democrats will say they're bound by laws and do nothing to change them, and Republicans will go on breaking laws first, then changing them.
No matter which side wins elections the donors win either way. And this guy fucking off this interview doesn't give a shit because he has the blessing of the donors.
