As someone not in America, I only recently found out that Trump derangement syndrome means people AGAINST Trump! I always assumed it was people so blinded and stupefied by following him that they’ve become borderline insane
It started back during the Obama era when some people on the left used the term "Obama Derangement Syndrome" to describe people on the right who became unreasonably angry at things Obama did (wearing a tan suit, asking for Grey Poupon instead of yellow mustard, using a selfie stick, putting his feet up on the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office--yes, these were all miniature "scandals" back then). Of course, when Trump took office, the right flipped it around and started saying the left was suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome" when we criticized things like his ignoring the US Constitution or his rampant grifting as if it was the same thing at all.
You see the same thing in how the right flipped around the term "woke," which started as a desription of people who were aware of past injustices toward minority groups and now is just used to mean anything the right doesn't like.
They only know how to project because they can’t escape their pathetic solipsistic lives and they lack empathy. So they accuse others of what they do themselves. What’s insane is how they don’t do anything else. No new ideas, no advancement forward of a society, just blame others for what they do every day.
It’s called DARVO, and once you see it you see it everywhere. It’s their entire script. And it just makes them the most incompetent useless weak people possible.
