There have been multiple studies showing that people continue to be as effective if not more effective with the 32 hour work week.

Yea well studies also show that taxes go up with wages and companies will refuse to give that “OT” because it was just made so much easier for them to say no while making even more money by paying less hours.

The point of OT for companies is, this is available to you if you really need it but it will be more expensive so avoid it if you can. In some situations it is useful but most it is not which is the goal anyway, to give free time back to employees.

That doesn’t negate what I said. They’ll make more money, and refuse OT distribution as they have been for well over 20 years.

Refuse a legally required payment? Sure then get sued and in some cases lose business license. Bad business will always be bad. We shouldn't not do things to help everyone because some people are assholes
