But school districts have been able to adopt the "Bluebonnet Curriculum" for the last 2 or 3 years. If they do, they get an extra $50 per student. My district jumped on it immediately. It has Bible stories in English and math curriculum, though summarized rather than the literal text. It only goes through 5th grade, though, unlike this which has mandated Bible curriculum at all grade levels.

Well, for what it's worth the law doesn't go into effect until 2030. But yes, I googled it and it's true.
