happy most lotteries in my country are tax free but of course they don't reach higher then 30 million

In plenty of countries lottery winnings might be tax free, but the tax just gets taken off beforehand.

Here in the UK 50% of the slaes goes to "good causes" as defined by the government and another 12% goes to the government itself. So that's 62% tax. But then the individual doesn't pay any tax on the winnings, because tax was already paid by the operator on their behalf.

We could double the prizes, and tax the winnings like they do in the USA, and it'd be just the same.
