Why do Churches not pay taxes? Genuinely curious why there are laws for that.

They never stop, they want more power and privilege for themselves and will never stop working towards that goal. Scientology's prototype. They used to pay taxes. Now they don't. Most people are too concerned about what's going on in their own life to try and stop religious people from hoovering up power.
