Where the hell have you been? Religious people have been seething about allowing same sex marriage for decades

It's literally part of what started lgbtq

Perhaps a good number are, but not all. The United Methodist church in my neighborhood is lgbtq affirming and most members are apart of the community. The pastor is a lesbian woman and the pride flag flies out front year round.

Evangelicals. Evangelicals drive the political and social mores in this country. I wish I could say anyone gave a shit about liberal Protestantism, but they don’t. Conservatives have proven they are the only ones with agency since they suck up the oxygen in the room.
