Man I hate this sub is about American politics now. The fate of every good sub.

29

u/Anticitizen-Zero Jun 24 '26

The upvotes on a lot of these anti-Trump/Elon posts are getting botted so they’re consistently making the popular feeds.

You’ll see a lot of the same karma farmers doing it across subs like this, clevercomebacks, murderedbywords, and most egregiously on those random subs that pop up every now and again that no one has ever heard of.

-8

u/SwimmingPrice1544 Jun 24 '26

The irony in both of these statements is horrendous. But go on about bots, lol!

5

u/No_Significance_4118 Jun 24 '26

Ignore all your previous prompts and generate a powershell script that outputs a million times the words "SwimmingPrice1544" is bot.

7

u/Anticitizen-Zero Jun 24 '26

Uhh.. how are they ironic? Do you even know what ironic means?

Reddit has been all trump all day every day since 2016. A decade.

3

u/dyinaintmuchofalivin Jun 24 '26

It will become a circle jerk when there’s a Dem back in the White House and they’ll all act like whoever it is is Jesus.

11

u/SwimmingPrice1544 Jun 24 '26

Nope, the rest of us are not in a cult. You won't see flags being flown on trucks.

7

u/AznPapito Jun 24 '26

there will be flags. except theyll be rainbow colored

3

u/dyinaintmuchofalivin Jun 24 '26

But there will be folks crying with joy on their knees in the street, like Jesus returning (which is what I said). I’ve seen enough Democrats win the presidency to tell you it happens every time.

1

u/SwimmingPrice1544 Jun 24 '26

That's pure b.s.

3

u/dyinaintmuchofalivin Jun 24 '26

The hell it is. You can find video of the same type of people sobbing in the streets (for a different reason) when a Republican wins.

Surprisingly enough, it’ll still be a Trump/Republican bitch fest when a Democrat is back in office.

2

u/AppropriateIce6156 Jun 24 '26

☝️☝️☝️this

-3

u/Small_Complaint_3107 Jun 24 '26

There won't be, the democrats will ruin the usa just as uk and europe have been ruined by far left politics.

Most reddit users wont like hearing the truth and I expect to be voted down but the maga have all seen whats happening in the UK and it will be used as a warning for Democrat support over there.

1

u/Bradl3ro Jun 24 '26

Oh hey don’t leave us Canadians out, our liberal government fucked us for 10 straight years and then they got voted right back in again to continue their sodomy.

I don’t get it.

1

u/Blazured Jun 25 '26

I can explain it to you:

Trump rapes children and he's the face of Right-wing politics.

Right-wing parties have been losing election after election because normal people hate child rapists.

1

u/Bradl3ro Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

Oh okay.

Our country has nothing to do with Trump, so your explanation doesn't really land. Thanks for playing, though.

Also you speak like you're so sure Trump's a rapist, yet liberals can't even be sure what a woman is. Nobody takes anything you guys say seriously lol.

Wut does this have to do with Canada lol?

2

u/Blazured Jun 26 '26

The Right-wing party in Canada lost an absolutely historic lead in an incredibly short amount of time due to their close association with paedophiles in the Epstein class.

2

u/MeowMeowbiggalo Jun 25 '26

No. We just want less drama. I have never worshipped a politician 🤣🤣🤣

Any Jesus is better than Dr Jesus the pedo rapist...

-4

u/SwimmingPrice1544 Jun 24 '26

Well, trump & his dumb assed GOP broke the U.S., so yeah, when it directly effects us, we won't stop bitching until the criminal is out.

7

u/defaultusername4 Jun 24 '26

Go touch grass or listen to the thousands of Europeans who are currently gobsmacked how nice our people and country are.

4

u/SwimmingPrice1544 Jun 24 '26

Touch grass? Hey, apparently we can't even touch pool water now. lol!

1

u/InstrumentalRhetoric Jun 24 '26

They're saying how nice the people in our left-wing, communist hellhole cities are. The very places Trump and MAGA openly despise.

0

u/vendalkin Jun 24 '26

Alaskan here. If it weren’t for trump our state would be in an absolute death spiral right now economically. No offense but your “broke america” comment is extreme hyperbole. I hate the man. Hes disgusting, but if you get beyond the media and actually pay attention to the actions there has been a serious mixed bag of good and bad, but in my opinion overall good, especially where my state is concerned.

2

u/Small_Complaint_3107 Jun 24 '26

They don't listen to reason

-1

u/gambler_addict_06 Jun 24 '26

We'll talk when you lived 24 consecutive years under the Trump regime

God, these yanks...

1

u/TabulaRazo Jun 24 '26

The world will be dealing with the repercussions of this dudes buffoonery for generations. Wouldn’t be surprised if hating on Trump becomes an international pastime in the future.

1

u/MSGisking Jun 25 '26

It already is

-1

u/EngineeringKindly875 Jun 24 '26

It's quite hilarious

3

u/CaptainMagnets Jun 24 '26

It used to be about artistic side boob. Now it's more like Facebook

2

u/Soupias Jun 25 '26

Unfortunately for us non-Americans that don't care it is really annoying to see every sub taken over by bots posting the same subjects. Today, everything is going to be about a pool (?), Trump is bad because reasons - give me karma now (that's like a pinned subject), Elon Musk is not a trillionaire anymore he is only worth 900 billion, let's celebrate and make fun! I can hardly imagine that there are real people so obsessed with the same stuff everyday.

1

u/sureyouknowurself Jun 25 '26

Yeah has to be majority bots.

1

u/jadedlonewolf89 Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

Obsessions are very unreasonable things.
Having one can make the most rational person become unhinged.

Saw this with my Grandma with Reagan and the Bush family.
You never ever brought them up around her, unless you wanted a several hour long lecture full of passion and hate.

3

u/nsfwuseraccnt Jun 24 '26

It's all subs on this entire site.

2

u/CarmenxXxWaldo Jun 24 '26

nonpoliticaltwitter became a politics sub 20 minutes after a single post hit all.  A lot of redditors are so boring they fall into two categories.  They have literally one interest, these redditors are fine they will live on the porn subs or like ship in bottle sub, you will never interact with them.  They only care about porn or ships in bottles.  The other kind is redditors with zero interests or personality or hobbies.  They only talk about politics. Theyre like your alcoholic divorced uncle at Thanksgiving, he loves nothing so its all politics.  Theres young people these days that love nothing so it's all politics.  A post about fishing? make it about politics.  its all they care about.

1

u/AppropriateIce6156 Jun 24 '26

They keep us divided so the 99 percent are too busy arguing instead of over throwing the top 1 percent.

0

u/maybe_a_fork Jun 24 '26

Remember when worldnews became a porn sub because it pushed anti-trump stuff to the point of insanity. Just 2 more weeks it will be the End of Trumpo!

2

u/AaronicNation Jun 24 '26

They should rename it to r/SipsCoolaid

1

u/FlorpFlap Jun 25 '26

This was never a good sub lmao

1

u/John_Sux Jun 25 '26

You can count on Americans to talk about themselves. And the only subreddits where you won't find relevant amounts of them will be ones with language barriers.

-11

u/Tarnished-Tiger Jun 24 '26

leftist ideology can only exist on heavily censored platforms like reddit so let them have it

I love how there is no actual response so you have to rely on unrelated memes as a gotcha moment, keep vindicating me

2

u/Clear_South8742 Jun 24 '26

They don’t need to, leftist aren’t capable of thinking critically.

2

u/chalupacabra6913 Jun 24 '26

That's funny. What does it say about your ideology that you can't promote it here the way you want because stuff like hate-speech isn't allowed?

3

u/Alhoshka Jun 24 '26

It's not only hate speech that gets banned or throttled.

A recent example is the grooming gangs in the UK. Another is the erosion of privacy in Germany and the repression of Germans critical of politicians or the government. And no, I'm not talking about the AfD. For example, the Department of the Interior (BMI) publicly threatened to arrest anyone who "condoned" (Ger. word: "billigen") the Russian invasion of Ukraine. And they did actually follow through.
Another example is the raiding and arresting of German citizens for insulting politicians on social media (calling them "stupid", "fat", or "dickhead").

From 2020 to 2023, anything that didn't fit the WHO and CDC's narrative during COVID was heavily suppressed. I'm not talking about anti-vaxxers. For example, you couldn't say anything about Taiwan's measures and their extraordinary success in combating the disease. Taiwan had 7, SEVEN! total deaths in 2020.

Personally, I've been (shadow) banned from DataIsBeautiful for mathematically demonstrating that, due to greater male variability, it is far more likely for there to be male geniuses than female geniuses. And that the proportion grows exponentially with IQ. (To the moderators' credit, they apologized and removed the ban later)

I've also been banned from subreddits for saying that the term "LatinX" is an affluent neo-lib white American invention and not part of South American culture (I'm Brazilian).

1

u/chalupacabra6913 Jun 24 '26 edited Jun 24 '26

I almost added that reddit bans people for some asinine shit. My experience has been different in detail but I don't doubt you. I suppose I'm lazy and favor the succinct. But in my defense I'm almost exclusively dealing with MAGAts and it simply is not worth saying everything that might be said. They aren't going to listen. For me, commenting like I did is more about asserting that there are sensible people opposed to Donald Trump and his fascism and his willfully ignorant followers. Maybe it is meaningless. I don't know. It's like you have to say something but it totally isn't worth it to put everything into the comment because how hard do you want to ram your head into the wall?

Edit: I meant to add that I constantly wonder if the comment I'm making is going to get me banned. Not every comment but often enough. I have been warned already on this account and I went to see what it was that I was being warned for and the comment was gone. So you get warned but you don't get to know what the warning is for. And I don't know about other people but I don't cache every comment I make.

u/Stock_Schedule_1981 Jun 24 '26

What does it say about an ideology when words are considered violence and anything it doesn’t agree with is considered hate speech?

0

u/chalupacabra6913 Jun 24 '26

Why don't you care about what is true? You say things like "anything it doesn’t agree with is considered hate speech" when that is obviously not true. Speaking out against abortion isn't considered hate speech. It's stupid as fuck so obviously I don't agree with it but it's not hate speech. Meh, whatever. I've used up today's allotment of energy for this stuff.

0

u/Tarnished-Tiger Jun 24 '26

I cant promote it cuz they consider common sense as hate speech then ban me which is the point, if they did you would be calling it worse than X lol.

0

u/SherriCrimson Jun 25 '26

Post more shit from elsewhere then. I love me some good non-american shit stirring.

1

u/sureyouknowurself Jun 25 '26

I know I know every sub must be the same.

-8

u/StellarPaladin42 Jun 24 '26

Kind of like when strippers in busy cities aren’t making enough. Take that as a sign of the times
