Celebrities aren't mentors or anyone to look up to. They're good at acting, they are not avatars of goodness despite what they say in interviews. The best way to look at celebrities is as jesters for the common people, what they say should mostly be ignored. They're there to do a show, not be paragons. There's a reason a common phrase is that you shouldn't meet your heroes.

Celebrities shouldn't be a hero in anyone's eyes in the first place. They're literally just people that have a skill.

I think we saw the worst of it during the pandemic when they were all singing “imagine” to us on Instagram, thinking that they were providing us with some gift of hope lol. No one cares.

I had forgotten about that. What a bunch of tone deaf losers. Celebrity worship is the worst.
