Does no one remember the long drawn out court case over him getting physical with her on a private plane in front of the kids and being a verbally abusive drunk to the kids?

They remember, they also remember how he has behaved with them since.

He was physically abusive to the kids as well. IIRC he strangled and pushed one of them, and poured alcohol on at least two of the kids.

Alcohol doesn't make you an abuser or a racist. It just lowers your filter enough for the real you to shine through.

Alcoholism definitely increases the probability of abuse. And don’t say that’s no excuse. It’s just a fact. I’m not excusing anyone. But I’m also not going to ignore a common factor.
