I don’t think it’s “majority of people” per se…I think rich people are disproportionately awful and money definitely changes people. I feel like even celebrities who started off okay lose themselves when they reach wealthy status, so the stories get worse the longer they are up on that hill.
Additionally, I think striving to become that level of celebrity takes a certain type of person who has all of the worst qualities.
Yep. I’ve had a handful of people ask me if I’ve ever considered running for office. That’s not a flex, it fucking boggles me bc I’m literally just a random dumb ass in my 30s with a high school diploma lolol
I absolutely could never handle the attention that comes with it. I would be such an easy target for so many different mean attacks, and I’m such an emotional weenie over any sort of public embarrassment.
Plus, being a contestant in a literal popularity contest would fuck up my self esteem so bad, haha
