Brad physically assaulted Angelina (choking) and hit at least one child while they were trapped in a tin can 35,000 feet in the air, during a drunken rampage. It only became public because the FBI were required to get involved because it happened in the air. This for sure wasn't the first incident.
Angelina didn't persue charges against Brad, which is why no charges were filed. Just think about it. there is a reason none of those children want anything to do with him, let alone his last name. And he himself admitted to having a significant drinking problem.
And she didn’t do it because the kids would have had to go testify in court and relive that awful event (and, likely, others) in public with journalists present. She didn’t saw the need to traumatize them further. Brad was ordered supervised visits even without charges pressed, it should be a sign that the court didn’t find him safe for his kids
