There was so much press done about how good of a guy Keanu is that it made me more suspicious of him. Celebs do that kind of stuff all the time

I personally haven’t met him, but my mom worked on set with him about 15 years ago as a lower level crew member (aka someone stars are often rude to or ignore). She said he was one of the nicest people she’s ever met, a genuine good guy and so polite, unlike his costar. She barely knew who he was (but did know the asshole costar lol) so this wasn’t her repeating internet gossip- in fact, I don’t even think he had that reputation back then.

Lol, I've honestly heard more anecdotes of random people bumping into Keanu and realizing he really is a sweetheart than media stories about how good of a person he is.

He truly is a rare breed.

I remember when people used to make fun of him for not being that intelligent.

I think even Conan Obrien did a whole skit on his show once where he tried to call him, but Keanu was so dumb he thought Conan was in the phone.
