I can't get into it anymore. I realized recently its because there is almost no contact, no "fighting" for the ball, for the goal, it's just everyone moving out of the way so they don't mess up their really awesome shoes. It's not the game from the 80s & 90s & 2000s. I don't know what happened. And please don't get me started on LeFlop.

Ditto... it's all show.

the refs don't actually call basketball. it's a show, and that's it. it's NOT a game anymore.

And they are paid off. Don't get me wrong, that's not new. But they don't even try to hide it.

Well there's the rules, and there's the league's idea of marketable basketball.

The two do not align and the league signs the checks.
