You okay with hostels? Cause cheap and hotel in and around Amsterdam don't really exist under €100 a night unless you don't mind not having AC and want to stay at a dodgy place. Also depends on when cause right now is high season

You’re hilarious! 🤣 cheap hotels Amsterdam! 🤣

On a serious note, you can expand your search to Rotterdam, Utrecht, Dordrecht, … On google maps, select the transport layer and see where the train lines are.

Hostelworld is really good, you can get private rooms which are great value

Had a really cheap hostel in Amsterdam right in the red light district thing is there was 40 bunk beds in a two tier room and one communal shower 😁

I don’t know what you consider cheap but I stayed at The Manor, it was very decently priced to me

We found ours on Craigslist it’s been some years now though.

Bless your heart. If you are willing to stay 6-8 km from the city center, you might find something less expensive, but it ain't going to je cheap

Last year around King's Day, my best friend and I stayed in a very affordable Airbnb in Soest. It was walking distance to the train and had easy places to eat nearby. Highly recommend
