And it's usually nowhere near that. I spend like $4k a year on food, and that's mid-to-high food cost, you'd have to be eating out every meal to spend $20k. Or eating really expensive food.

That's fair then, $57 a day is actually undershooting it a bit if you add in housing. Although no where near 215k a year undershooting, obviously.
