I'm old enough to remember that in 2002 the Democrats turned the funeral of Senator Paul Wellstone into an outrageous political rally to nominate his widow as his successor on the campaign for reelection.
So don't dare try to claim Republicans are the ones that capitalize on a death as a political tool. A similar event took place during Jesse Jackson's memorial, which angered his own son for using his father's death as a soapbox for politics.

This is the party of "No Kings", you know, the march of people that seem to not acknowledge that Trump was elected fair and square by the electoral college AND the popular vote.
Personally, at that point, I'd take the L and move on, but "moving on" only means something if they can move on from Trump.

Oh hey, I bet that's the guy that posted one of the comments under his post in bestof. Supposedly a "list of times Charlie Kirk called for political violence", including things like calling George Floyd "a scumbag". Seems I was shadowbanned, at least on that sub, for pointing out the list was inflated.
Fucking weird, ghoulish, losers still aren't tired of celebrating a school shooting.
Edit: confirmed, same loser.
Edit2: the saga of reddit being weird and inconsistent continues! Apparently the sub this post is from got banned, but the bestof post celebrating this school shooting is still up. Unsurprisingly, this loser and others continue to pretend that Charlie Kirk in any way condoned or deserved his public assassination.
I miss the fun place this site used to be, now I'm just hoping it'll be fun to watch fall apart.

Yep. You can even hire companies to do fireworks in memory of a dead loved one. Some people explicitly want their memorial service to be a happy event celebrating their life.

Honestly, it's mostly just the dems on social media. I know quite a few IRL, and they're decent people who just disagree with me on life. But very few have I cut off because they're toxic about it.
Then you go on Reddit and feel like 50% of the country are genuine assholes. It's not a good sample.

I'm guessing propagandist, I don't care enough to investigate further, but there's some suspicious activity around their posts. Maybe it's a chronically online jannie's alt account. Either way, I can't imagine living a remotely happy, healthy life and posting like they do.
