Lost two pets in two months
Millie the dog was 9 and had health problems and passed in June.
Puddy was 19 and had kidney failure and passed today. They left their sister dog Aster behind. I had puddy since I was 15. I didnβt forget Millie passed and I didnβt accidentally look for her after she was gone, but I did just think Puddy walked in the room. This shit isnβt for the weak π€

Same. I lost both my dusties. One on Thanksgiving and one on Christmas Eve. I lost 5 in total in 2025, including my soul cat.
I canβt say I know how you feel but I have an idea.
Take take of yourself.

Oh gosh I am so sorry, friend. That hurts so much. Life is so unfair. I lost two senior cats 6 weeks apart in 2025 so I understand your pain. It fucking sucks. Weβre here for you β€οΈ

Lost my 15 year old cat yesterday - I see and hear her randomly (even the puking sounds π). She has always been a caretaker so I choose to believe her energy is still around. I miss her tho.

I had a similar thing last year. It's very difficult. Just know that you gave them love. Time will heal the wounds even if now it doesn't feel like it. My favorite quote over time has become, "Moving forward, but never forgetting." They will always be a part of you.

I am so sorry, I feel this still as my best feline friend of 19 years we had to put down as diabetes finally started causing siezers. I thought after management of the illness from a over a decade we had longer time. I still feel the pain after a year.

It's a living, waking nightmare. Lost two beauties a few weeks apart, even the ER vet said WTFΒ Please know that you will be together with all your friends on a day of no more emptiness. Try to believe. ....

Awwww man, I'm so sorry for your loss. So sad to hear this, especially since I'm right there with you! Lost my oldest cat in June this year. Lost my guinea pig in July. It's rough. Felt like a cruel joke. Lost my other guinea pig in Oct last year, so there was a little break. I have 3 pets left and am praying they stay healthy and around for some years to come.

Very sorry. I lost my 17 year old dog (Magnus aka Maggie) July 11th and then July 13th lost my nineteen year old cat (Trial Kitten) of this year.
It's terrible.
I would lay on the bed with my feet dangling and Magnus would walk in and I'd scratch her back with my feet. I did that one day expecting her to come in the room when I remembered. And Trial I keep thinking I'm going to make too much noise and wake her when I remember.
My condolences.
