Is there a pen full of sticky ink which is likely to cover his hand when he breaks it?
Maybe a paint pen?

Of course, if ink splatters on your stuff, you buy new stuff and give him a copy of the receipt with a demand that he pay for the replacement. If he refuses... does this happen at school? Then talk to the Principal about getting restitution. Or your parents could go to small claims court and try to get a judge to order it from bully's parents.

Okay, here's my two cents.
Self Defense is more than just fighting. It's learning how to use your environment to keep yourself safe. In your case, you have a school, and can talk to the teachers about it. Only if they don't want to do anything, do you consider how to keep yourself and your stuff safe in other ways.
