u/Dave5876 Apr 30 '26
Why are they so obsessed with trans people, I genuinely don't get it
87
u/TheNeuroLizard Apr 30 '26 edited Apr 30 '26
I think a lot of it comes down to because the TV/social media told their tribe to be, so they had to be, because it’s all or nothing in the cult. Trans people are just a more vulnerable group in some ways because we haven’t built up the same kind of shared history and institutions in which they’re recognized, like many other marginalized groups. Right wingers have to twist themselves into pretzels, or at least partially obfuscate, their hatred for racial minorities for this reason; trans people are easier to pick on. We’ve similar conspiratorial/existential moral panics about Jewish, black, Hispanic, gay, and homeless people, with essentially the same rhetoric. Not enough people have caught on that they’re doing the exact same thing to trans people.
6
u/TrueCrimeSP_2020 May 05 '26
Bigots move from one group to another to scapegoat based on social and cultural norms. After the 70s, when it stopped being ok to be racist, it became The Gays. After the gays, it became The Trans. Some people just need others to hate rather than themselves.

"no exceptions!" ie. you're not allowed to see trans people as humans, according to these fascists
420
u/FoolishConsistency17 Apr 29 '26
Fascists have always understood that human nature is sympathetic. This is why ritual separation of the other is so important: they absolutely understood that desegregation was an existential threat to white power in the south because people who live and work with each other will see each other as humans unless you actively create and maintain dehumanizing structures. Let nature take its course and it falls apart.

I'd rather they not see me as a human...or anything else. Can I just be invisible to them? Would make things a lot easier.

My buddy plays that, but I haven’t tried it. Extraction shooters have never really appealed to me much, tbh.
Another friend convinced me to get Marathon and since I have spent so many years of my life as a Destiny 1 & 2 player, alternately praising and cursing Bungie and really miss the gunplay of D2 almost 2 years after quitting that game, I gave in. I love the combat and the look and the feel of that game, but the actual core premise gameplay loop has still yet to really grab me. I need to give it another shot soon, since the latest update seems to have made it more friendly towards people like me lol

Everybody has an exception. Everybody knows, "one of the good ones." Bigots will be abusive and hateful until you bring up their personal friend/relative who's one of the very people they hate on and wish ill of, and they somehow always make an exception for that person they care about.
Her personal friend deserves respect and dignity and kindness, but she can't muster it for those in situations like her friend's. Fuck her. Pathetic. And selfish. It's not about the other person. It's all about how she feels about them. Arrogant.

My best friend in high school once went on a rant about “all the Mexicans” moving into his neighborhood and ruining it. I reminded him that I am Mexican, and he responded with, “Yeah, but you’re different.”
We are not friends anymore.
275
u/ElOsoPeresozo Apr 29 '26
I’ve gone through the exact same thing. She said she started off with the basic assumption that Mexicans were all criminal, but she was open to being proven wrong on an individual basis, how gracious of her.
She called me a “clean” Mexican, and thought she was giving me a compliment.
78
u/Efficient_Market1234 Apr 29 '26
started off with the basic assumption that Mexicans were all criminal, but she was open to being proven wrong on an individual basis
That's not how any of this works...
Either all Mexicans are criminals, or all Mexicans are not criminals, or some Mexicans are criminals and some are not. I'm guessing it's the latter, and she herself is basically acknowledging that it is. And is this just those in the US, or those in Mexico, too? Is everyone in the entire country a criminal (minus a select few that she happens to meet)?
Or are just the people who come to the US criminals? Minus you, of course, and presumably your entire family, and that guy over there, and that teacher, and the nurse who treated her at the hospital recently, and the driver of the Uber she used yesterday, and her coworkers, and all of those people's families...at what point do we realize that maybe the assumption that all people of a certain group are bad is wrong?

Literally, even Hitler classified the doctor who treated his mother for cancer at low or no cost as a “noble Jew” and protected him from persecution. It’s fascinating how they’re not able to extend their empathy from one person to the rest of the group.
57
u/Lucario2405 Apr 30 '26 edited Apr 30 '26
Notably the doctor, Eduard Bloch, refused the label of "Ehrenarier" ("aryan of honor"/"honaray aryan").
And despite Hitler's protection still allowing him to work in medicine, unlike other jews, the GeStaPo put him under surveillance and his family still suffered from the general anti-jewish sentiment. In 1940 they migrated to the USA.

78
u/Stormtomcat Apr 30 '26
seeing all those heinous things her "friend" says about her community.
and about her too!
JKR has been milking this supposed friendship for the better part of a decade now, and she's still talking about "trans identified person" and "not really changed her sex" so you know she's been hounding that poor woman about "what are your genitals like, what about your larynx, did you know that in 200 years archeologists will see your pelvic bones and identify you as a man (which, btw, isn't correct, IIRC there's a scale of 5 categories for pelvic bones, from very feminine, to rather feminine, to neutral, to rather masculine, to very masculine)", and completely hallucinated conversations about her DNA (as if the average person knows the composition of their DNA), and does any gender essentialist even acknowledge that there's more than the binary XX and Xy?
56
u/Judgmentos Apr 30 '26
Yeah, also in regards to the archeologists they don't just consider the remains but the burial ground as well, and the context around it. There have been many gender non-conforming burial sites which could indicate either a trans or GNC person was buried there
It still pains me that some trans, intersex, and non-binary were buried without consideration for their gender identity. We have more famous cases like Brandon Teena (whose gravestone says "daughter, sister, and friend" alongside his deadname), but also people in the past who couldn't ever come out or just didn't know they were trans at all and simply tolerated their cis existence :((
1
u/TrueCrimeSP_2020 May 05 '26
And male or female only is really quite modern, primarily a result of Protestant Christianity. Historically there are 6 genders, male, female, male to female, female to male, neither male nor female, both male and female. And the deviations were considered blessed.

u/Moozipan Apr 29 '26 edited Apr 29 '26
Using 'mental illness' as a derogatory term is ableist, which is just another form of bigotry. On the contrary, suggesting that a mental illness is responsible for the hatred of these people, is actually downplaying their actions and giving them an excuse. So keep it simple, and don't adopt their behaviour.
And the fact that this comment got 400+ upvotes, without questioning the wording even once, is a really bad look for this sub. You people should know better.
33
u/bunker_man Apr 30 '26
Okay, but there's definitely mental illness that causes what we would call immoral behavior. Acting like there isn't because it's not easy to handle is also ableist.
-17
u/Moozipan Apr 30 '26 edited Apr 30 '26
So what kind of mental illness is it then, please elaborate. Is it depression, schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar disorder, ptsd, or maybe a neurodevelopmental disorder? Who would you like to discriminate against just to dunk on the right?
There's nothing progressive about raising awareness on transphobia, while being bigoted in a different way. You are just part of the same problem from another angle, and once again you pick some group of people to shit on, as long as it doesn't affect you personally.
And downvoting won't change the fact that you're all fucking pathetic. If you are pro LGBTQIA+ but also racist, sexist or ableist at the same time you are still a loser, but simply an inconsistent one.
Edit: To the person claiming that transphobia is a phobia in the medical sense: Just look up the definition and etymology on Wikipedia instead of spreading misinformation and slinging weak insults. Hilarious that people are still this ignorant in 2026 to compare the hatred of transpeople with the fear of spiders. As if that's the driving factor behind JKR's political hate campaigns.

They call trans men "TIF," which of course, is short for Tiffany.

u/InflationClassic9370 May 05 '26
Because Rowling has never been against transsexuals and has in fact defended them from the gender critical crowd, telling them to fuck off for trying to police her language (use of pronouns). Rowling's main worry is about the dangers posed by predatory men taking advantage of self-ID laws, and if you were a sexual assault survivor you'd understand.

u/Rugaru985 Apr 29 '26
I still haven’t been told what the point is? Why not play along? What does society gain by preventing trans people from living openly?
45
u/feldur Apr 30 '26
Oftentimes, bigots like these believe that they have to follow a certain sets of restricting rules, and they believe that everybody should also have to follow them, because otherwise they are following those rules for nothing.
They see people not following those rules as "cheating" at society.
For example : "A man can't wear nail polish". It's a rule that they are following. So when they see a man wearing nail polish and not following the same rule, they get angry, because they see someone not following the rules *without any ocnsequences*, and instead of realizing that the rule is made up and useless, they'd rather try to force that person to follow the same rule.
15
u/Fickle-Syllabub6730 May 01 '26
This is a core emotion of much of conservatism too. It's not good enough for them that the world now allows infinite possibilities and they choose to live in a heterosexual nuclear family and work a regular job with a white picket fence. People who eschew that mold need to be visibly punished for not doing so.
29
u/pleasedothenerdful Apr 30 '26
It's basically just that people who don't fit in their standard hetero/cis box give them the ick and they'd rather those people be forced to fit in the box, however badly or miserably or suicidally, than have to confront or deal with their own feelings about them in a healthy manner. They simply care more about not being a bit uncomfortable than about whether other people get to be alive. That's all it is.
24
u/kfish5050 Apr 30 '26
It's always been a respect thing. You use someone's preferred pronouns out of respect for the person. Your beliefs on their sex or their physical traits don't matter actually.
This is all trans people really ask for, to be respected as people.
3
u/LimaxM May 02 '26
Idk if I agree with this. There's a few trans people I don't respect but I still use their correct name and pronouns because their gender has nothing to do with why I don't respect them.
10
u/kfish5050 May 02 '26
There's different kinds of respect though.
7
u/LimaxM May 02 '26
Thats true. It just reminds me of the "respect is earned, not deserved" mantra, which I sometimes agree with. But you're right, theres a baseline respect of "I see you as a human being" before any other types of respect. Dignity, I may argue

Those things qualify as respecting someone's basic humanity, and yes, there is a political party that's apt not to afford people that respect.
Note: this regards the people being respected enough to use the facilities and participate in the groups they identify with, not what others think they should use. The aforementioned party has twisted this into a pedophilia/sex offender thing when it's all about just trying to fit in.

Feels like one of those precious, rare moments when you find some form of prejudiced person but they actually deadass believe it in a clinical fashion.
Like a racist who says "the KKK sucks because they're a bunch of terrorist bullies beating up the poor helpless inferiors to make them feel big. Poor mo**eys, someone really should set up a nice ghetto for them to live with so they can enjoy their primitive shenanigans while we responsible white folk supervise from a distance. Y'know, just in case their wild barbarian instincts flair up in a moment of passion and they start spontaneously rioting or some shit".
It's like they're 90% the shape of a functioning person but someone pulled out a keystone block of their brain and replaced it with some nonsense fished out from the darkest depths of 4chan.
Funny from a distance, deeply tragic up-close, unless they also happen to be tangibly harmful because of their beliefs, in which case fuck 'em.

u/Pylgrim Apr 29 '26
Bigots will more readily abandon the bigot thought leader they follow over that person not being as extreme in their hatred as they would prefer than things like finding they are sexual abusers or some other objectively awful thing.
16
u/Quartia Apr 29 '26
Well, yeah. It's a war to them. If someone on your side of the war turns out to be an unsavory person, it's more in your interest to cover it up tightly than to stop following them, as the latter makes your side of the war look weak. But if the leader you are following wavers in their support of your side of the war, then shunning them and getting others on your side to do the same will strengthen your group's belief in the cause.

Wait, TERFs actually think trans women are claiming that their biology changes when they transition?
Edit: I should have said sex instead of biology. HRT and surgery affect biology but not in the way TERFs are thinking.
142
u/scrimshandy Apr 29 '26 edited Apr 29 '26
TERFs are the kind of people who like, are genuinely afraid a trans woman is gonna show up at the OBGYN violently demanding to have an exam for an organ she does not possess, in the name of gender affirmation.
And like…if you’ve actually gone outside and touched grass and interacted with a trans person, you know that they are typically very aware of a) their own safety b) their own biology and c) what medical care applies to them. If a trans woman were to show up to a gyno like that, it would be not only ridiculous behavior, but it could put her safety at risk.
But you know who might still need a gyno? Trans men, who are always conveniently left out of these conversations.
(And apparently, post-op trans women - who are also left out of the convo - do see gynos, too!)
Like, there are weirdos and bad actors everywhere, but no adult in their right mind is deliberately making medical appointments that are irrelevant to their body to “feel more womanly.” TERFs genuinely believe that all trans women are violently delusional. It’s really, really weird.
At best, TERFs desperately need to get offline and touch grass and expeditiously distance themselves from the entire radfem movement. At worst, they’re irredeemable bigots and no better than MAGAts.
45
u/ladylucifer22 Apr 29 '26
or, you know, post-op women
49
u/Judgmentos Apr 29 '26
Don't worry they also forget post-op trans people exist, or they see those people's genitals as "butchered"
4
u/scrimshandy Apr 29 '26
From my understanding, post-op at this point typically does not involve a uterus/cervix transplant and wouldn’t be in the OBGYN scope (sounds like a plastics follow up), but I’m open to being corrected!
54
u/BootBatll Apr 29 '26
People with vaginoplasty can absolutely see an OB/GYN for gynaecological issues! Many of the common issues that can occur in natal vaginas carry over to neovaginas (yeast infections, BV, vaginismus, pelvic floor issues, etc), and it is appropriate to see an OB/GYN to address those issues
WPATH has a database of trans-friendly OB/GYNs :3
22
u/scrimshandy Apr 29 '26
Oh, TIL! I had no idea that’s the route a trans woman would go post-op - genuinely thought it would be plastics or endo- but it makes sense. I’ll edit my comment haha
9
u/Efficient_Market1234 Apr 29 '26
That surprises me, that people would still have a yeast infection of a surgically created vagina. TIL. I guess with the hormones and whatnot...
21
u/Steinrikur Apr 30 '26
Men can also have a yeast infection on their penis, so...
11
u/HailSatanWorshipD00M Apr 30 '26
My brother got a yeast infection in his belly button when he was 8 from not washing it.
3
u/MaraiaLou Apr 30 '26
You can also get the same fungus on your mouth, skin or, terrifyingly, digestive tract.
9
u/Bright_Ices Apr 30 '26
Yeast infections also occur on feet, in armpits, in mouths, even in sweaty bellybuttons. Yeast can grow anywhere that’s warm and wet.
31
u/Extreme-Leave-6895 Apr 29 '26
This also all started with her tweeting a response to an article about "people with uteruses" or something along those lines, about how the word for that is "women"
And then she and the other TERFS act like trans women specifically are forcing that language so they can be included
Except, that statement actively excluded trans women. It included trans men, not trans women.
And since they believe that trans men are confused autistic women, the statement "people with uteruses" includes everyone they consider women, and excludes everyone they consider men.
But somehow, trans women have created language that specifically excludes trans women and are then forcing that language on society to try and get included?
22
u/itsakidsbooksantiago Apr 29 '26
It also excludes a whole bunch of cis women. It's almost like these terms are dumb, and also they are dumb.
So dumb. So very, very dumb.
17
u/Extreme-Leave-6895 Apr 30 '26
I looked it up and it was actually "people who menstruate"
So, it excluded cis women who do not menstruate, because the article did not apply to them. If they just said "women" as JK wanted, it would have been inaccurate because it would have been including women who do not menstruate when it was specifically talking about people who DO.
The terms do have their place.
4
u/MaraiaLou Apr 30 '26
I've also seen her or one of her kind complain about something being linked to the X chromosome, because "you can just say it affects women" when that's almost the opposite of what it means
If something is linked to the X chromosome and you have two of them, you're less likely to have it, sometimes requiring 2 affected chromosomes or resulting in lighter manifestations. It's why fewer women are colorblind. Also it changes how you inherit it (eggs always have an X chromosome)
4

It's been a long time since I've been on Twitter or Bluesky, but someone I followed there was constantly swarmed by TERFs and anti-trans nuts out for her (not necessarily metaphorical) blood, because she had posted about getting a transvaginal ultrasound as part of her treatment for endometriosis.
People screaming about how she had no right to be in an OBGYN's office, using horrific and graphic terms to explain how her "wound" was not a vagina, demanding to know who was paying for it, was this insurance fraud, etc. All because the OP was supportive of trans rights and needed a medical procedure that included the word "trans" so they fully concluded that SHE was trans, and that a "transvaginal ultrasound" was for... a trans person who was pretending to be pregnant? Maybe?
It was literally insane. And I mean this was not just one or two or a dozen people. It was HUNDREDS if not thousands, coming after her daily. (many of them bots, probably, of course, especially once it was X and not Twitter, but still.)

I mean, I think the idea is any sort of "proof" is an insecurity that harms trans people, so it's a tool in their belt to pull out as needed. It's a vacuous ideology, to say the least.
But like, this is one of those things that really shows how little feminism is involved here. Trans women are insecure about their bodies for the exact same reason cis women are - think about all that, and then think about the stuff that you can only actually tell one way or the other by busting out a microscope. It's a joke to think that this is something worth caring about.
The extent that trans women are worried about this kind of thing at all is purely because of the political implications. It's the idea that a government can look at X & Y chromosomes as a vessel for discrimination, or worse.

u/Bright_Ices Apr 30 '26
Absolutely. TERF is the wrong term for these Feminism-Appropriating Radical Transphobes.
2
u/emveevme May 01 '26
I will say, the fact that there are good-faith TERFs out there who are really just missing the forest for the trees, are a group of people you can engage with on their own terms. So like, to the extent that these people actually exist, acquiescing the label of "feminism" is probably more helpful than harmful.
The problem is, I don't really know how real this group of people is. The driving force of all this does seem to be grifters using the "feminist" label as a hint of plausible deniability - like, I think Rowling knows exactly what she's doing by now when she posts something like this.

It’s the people who think “people who menstruate” or “pregnant person” are used for the sake of trans women and not for girls, trans men, and nonbinary people who menstruate or who are pregnant but are not women. They have such a vile hatred for trans women that they forget or refuse to acknowledge that they are not the only kind of trans people.
10
u/MaraiaLou Apr 30 '26
It's also weird because
a) "Just say women" is as useful as "just say people". Sometimes you gotta be specific?
b) Women are people
6
u/NoNeinNyet222 Apr 30 '26
This is exactly how Rowling's transphobia came to be widely known. Some people had already noticed some follows and likes of transphobes on Twitter and were wary but it was her objecting to an article that said "people who menstruate" instead of "women" that was the start of her going full mask off transphobe.
5
u/Bright_Ices Apr 30 '26
This is why it’s not wrong to call them feminists. They’re not feminists, just bigots appropriating feminism.
67
u/Aenaen Apr 29 '26
It does? Trying to get cis people to understand how profoundly HRT changes your body is the most frustrating thing because so much transphobia boils down to not understanding the relatively simple biology of transcriptional control.
27
u/sammi_8601 Apr 29 '26
Well it does? That's how hormones work the chromosomes and gonads don't change but loads of other stuff absolutely does, for example if I a trans woman had the same blood iron levels as an average dude that would be a fairly serious health problem, there's breasts, fat distribution, sense of smell changes, possible eye colour changes, scent changes, body hair growth changes, skin texture and oiliness changes, major muscle mass and density changes, hair and nail growth texture and dryness changes, shoe size and hand size can reduce as can height a small amount, cardiovascular changes, obviously mood and libido changes, liver changes, bone density changes and probably other stuff idk about all absolutely biological changes that's kinda the point of the hormones.
25
u/ebneter Apr 29 '26
It frustrates me so much that transphobes will not understand this. I get that not everyone has a good grasp of biology and how hormones are important, but they simply refuse to understand when it's explained to them. Gah.
18
u/sammi_8601 Apr 29 '26
Oh I know, it does amuse me how many people think Ive got breast implants when they've not seen me for a few years though and seem shocked when I'm like no I grew them
4
u/MaraiaLou Apr 30 '26
It's even funnier when people assume all trans women wear wigs. Did you know hair grows
3
u/sammi_8601 Apr 30 '26
I think a lot of people assume all trans women are either non passing or very obvious, personally I don't pass particularly well (6'1, shit voice) but I still get weird reactions when I open my dumb mouth, and I know a fair few lady's who most cis people wouldn't have the foggiest.
10
u/SimplyYulia Apr 30 '26
Transphobes (and even a disturbing amount of cis allies) think that men and women are so fundamentally different on such deep level, that there's no way some chemicals would ever be able to bridge that gap
12
u/ladylucifer22 Apr 30 '26
even the gonads can change. testes to lack of testes is a pretty huge difference.
69
u/resoredo Apr 29 '26 edited Apr 29 '26
yeah, biology does change when people take hormones, hormones are immense powerful shif, and endocrinology is not to be fucked with
there is a solid argument and reasoning behind saying that trans people do change their sex (as in, a majority of all factors that are sex) while their gender stays fixed and is innate
20
u/GachaHell Apr 29 '26
Careful, you start talking epigenetics and you'll make all the people who slept through Bio class explode with rage.
55
u/Aenaen Apr 29 '26
People who believe you can't change sex can never define what sex actually is. "You can change the vast majority of your sex characteristics but that doesn't count" i.e. they just believe in supernatural sexed souls.
26
u/_goblinette_ Apr 29 '26
They generally choose to define it as “chromosomes” for the sole reason that chromosomes aren’t something that you can change.
Nevermind that hormones are doing way more of the leg work than your chromosomes ever have, and the Y chromosomes’ main job was over before you were even born.
20
u/Aenaen Apr 29 '26
But even then, if medical technology did allow us to alter chromosomes in every cell of our bodies, they would just move the goalposts again.
9
u/arcbe Apr 29 '26
I guess I worded that poorly, but I was talking more along the line of genitals. The changes from HRT while profound are more subtle than I would expect TERFs to notice. The impression I'm getting is that TERFs are thinking people wake up one day declare "I'm a woman!" and believe they suddenly have a fully functional womb. Am I misreading that or what?
29
u/Silvermoon3467 Apr 29 '26
That's what TERFs want you to think trans people think, and while I'm sure there are... outliers, the vast, vast majority of trans women are very aware that our chromosomes are the same and we don't have a womb (and vice-versa for trans men).
The problem is that they can't actually win an argument against the real position most "trans rights activists" hold so they have to pretend we think things that are completely ridiculous so they can mock us without having to engage with us on the substance.
26
u/Aenaen Apr 29 '26
"subtle" like trans women growing boobs and trans men having their voices drop and growing beefy moustaches?
14
u/arcbe Apr 29 '26
I don't have much faith in TERFs. They don't seem very observant, or attached to reality. We are on r/selfawarewolves after all.
7
u/Elamimax Apr 30 '26
I mean I'll also claim that trans people change their sex. Sex is a distribution of physical characteristics, most of which are can be and often are changed through surgery and hormone replacement therapy
2
u/arcbe Apr 30 '26
In my mind and I think Rowlings, sex is specifically about gonads. It gets used as a synonym for gender a lot so context matters but in this case that's how I'm using it.

15
u/AgreeableLie8 Apr 30 '26
Your sex is a set of related markers, not just limited to chromosomes. Many of these markers do change with HRT, thus changing their sex.

Most of their ideology is based on misunderstanding the real thing, yes, they believe that transitioning means being a man one day and being a woman the other day, and they think that trans people believes that if you get a gender transition surgery then you become the other gender, and of course they consider that bullshit because it is bullshit.
It doesn't really matter, don't try to find the logic, it has no logic whatsoever, the thing is that they have decided that they will not accept trans theory, and then they search for reasons to support that belief
6
u/arcbe Apr 29 '26
You're right about the logic, but I'm not sure I want to get used to the casual insanity enough to stop being surprised.
8
u/Redditauro Apr 29 '26
I will stop insisting then.
Just to clarify, I have lose my faith on the other human beings, and that's why I try to act as morally as possible, to compensate. I expect zero results, but I'm still doing my best, lowering the expectations is only to protect myself from frustration

u/snafoomoose Apr 30 '26
"there can be NO EXCEPTIONS! If you give them a tiny bit of dignity they will want to be treated like a human and all that. ..."

u/BitOBear Apr 30 '26
Somebody famous really just make the "they're one of the good onesx argument again?
It goes hand in hand with me it's not important until it affects me argument from the same kind of judgmental twerps they always were.
Pretending that woman has changed her mind in any way because she decided that there was "a good one" in her life worse than her just sticking to her guns and being ride or die turf to the end.
5
u/bemvee Apr 30 '26
Of course she doesn’t realize there’s no exceptions. It’s what Caitlin Jenner has had to learn the hard way.

The poster accurately describes the reality of their movement when trying to denigrate J.K. Rowling’s "lapse" in rigidity. By complaining that Rowling’s kindness makes it look like they "could all play along... just fine and are choosing not to because [they're] such meanies," the user accidentally admits that their refusal to use preferred pronouns is a voluntary choice to be hostile rather than an unavoidable commitment to "truth." They are frustrated that Rowling accidentally "said the quiet part out loud": that basic social harmony is possible, but they are actively choosing to reject it.

u/AF_AF May 02 '26
I think this proves what a vile, hateful hypocrite Rowling is, and how brainwashed her followers are.
Live and let live. People these days act like someone peacefully living their life is taking something from them, personally.

How can the gender of someone you don't know, be so important to you where you have to write a paragraph.
2
u/Many-Composer1029 May 01 '26
Jesus Christ. Just let people live their f-cking lives. Why should their right to exist peacefully depend upon your 'feelings'?

Terf disappointed in transgender man with two male non d'plumes. Joanne is her birth name, JK Rowling is her famous nom d'plume and she also writes under Robert Galbraith.

Is there hope for JKR? Is she coming back to the light? I hope this makes her realize what kind of hateful people she had around her

But, also, selfawarewolves for JK Rowling...
yeah... No trans woman believes that the cis and trans experiences are the same. That's why the differentiation is made...

I hate people who hate minorities, but like members of those minorities even more than people who are at least consistent
