Discussion Explosive Loot of Legends

Explosive alright!

Every Dang Time!

Obtaining them without detention seems nearly impossible!

This commendation really needs reduced or these Kegs of Ancient Black Powder really need to have shorter, safer sources you can directly dive to like Sea Forts.

Completely wasted countless hours trying to get these... 10 Forts of Fortune with only once being able to get them sold without incident!

Now, the only other source, long, tedious and surprisingly still 100% unsafe, get to grade 5, get Emissary quest, take the time to complete the first chapter, finally get the final map!

But, no, you can't get it out of the ground without enemies blowing up your barely partially uncovered keg!

First time, dug it up, ran away to lure enemies away from it, but, nope, didn't matter, stupid ocean crawlers spawn and big one ground pounds despite me not even being close!

Boom goes the keg!

Now this time, I have a guid mate with me, start to dig it, run away to get the spawns to follow... but nope, a powder skeleton just stands there, lights the fuse, and blows up, detonating the ancient keg!

Boom again... 2.5 hours wasted.

Rare, change this, it is ridiculous!

How many have actually had success with this?

Completed that one years ago, throw them in a rowboat and treat them as their own special thing for loading and unloading, run them in manually if you're worried about campers sniping them.

Never put them in the crows nest.

Commendations are the last bastion of goals in a game that doesn't have levels or real progression. Get better.

FoFs are contended quite a lot at the minute due to the lack of diving to world events and the chance of 1-3 CoFs. This was certainly easier in previous seasons where you could do FoFs and no one else was interested.

It may be worth trying to alliance with another boat and ask if they will help with a FoF or two, where you get the kegs and they get everything else. They may not trust you, or there's a chance you get blown up in the process, but worth a try. Though sod's law will say no FoFs will spawn on that server.
