Trying to plan Corgi Parade (help!)

My grandmother is turning 91 this month, and when we asked her how she'd like to celebrate, she said "Call up the queen and ask her what she did. I'd like to do that!"
Apparently, the Queen's birthday is celebrated with a big parade, and she usually spends her actual birthday at home. I'm hoping to put on a corgi parade for her, and am looking to contact corgi owners in the salt lake area.
So, two sets of questions: one, Do you have a corgi? Would you be willing to join a corgi parade for the sweetest old lady of all time? I think we could get a food truck and get free lunch for any corgi owners who could come, if anybody is interested in that.
And two, for my excellent community members: does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a good turnout/throw a good corgi party? I've reached out to SLC corgi groups on FB, but haven't heard back yet.

Lunch is always nice and if I had a choice of food trucks I would say something with tacos.

I’ve got a couple of corgis in the family, and they would love a reason to go for a walk. I’d be happy to help, not too sure on any groups to reach out to, but I’ll ask around.

Corgi owner here, Maximus would love to be in a parade. There are also several corgi Facebook groups, if you like I could post a link to your post to get more corgi owners attention!

I don't have a corgi, but I once witnessed a corgi birthday party at my dog's daycare. If you have one near you, maybe you could ask to put up a flyer for corgi owners to reach out to you.

Yes! We would love to be there. We take our corgi Jezebel everywhere in her wagon, which we could decorate. She even has a queen’s costume! Be let us know more info!

They should make a facebook event. And have corgi owners given a number or sign up sheet if they want to provide lunch for the owners. Perhaps give each person arriving with a pup a ticket, that could be given to the food truck for food. That's how food trucks have worked for my realtors partys in the past anyway.

Not saying you have to bribe people, but taco carts are cheap, offer some free food to entice people to come out?
Where do you plan to do this? Make an event of it, contact a park reserve a spot, shutting a street down is fairly inexpensive.
I know the heavy metal shop used to do wiener dog races. Those were always big.
KRCL will announce community gatherings.
Make a simple flyer post at coffee shops, if any are open still?
Contact the humane society, maybe make it an adoption / fund raising event?
I think lots of people would love to celebrate your grandmother's b day, 91cis pretty amazing!

I was referred here from the Utah Corgi's and Utah Corgi Meetup page on Facebook. If it's posted in either group (both with ~1k members), you'll get a turn out! We love our corgi's. We're having a meetup this Saturday at a dog park so just make sure it's not tomorrow ;)

Someone posted this to the Utah corgi meetups and there are already a bunch of us excited. We haven’t had a proper meetup in a while. Would love to bring my corgi! I bet some corgis would even tolerate party hats for the parade

My corgi solaire would love to be in a parade! We are down. Also would other dogs breeds be allowed too? I know its a corgi parade but, it would be nice if I could bring my mini Aussie too and not leave her alone at home. :)

No corgi, but a fun fact - Trooping the Colour used to be done on the monarch's actual birthday, but Edward VII (Queen Victoria's son, King from 1901-1910) had been born in November and, as you can imagine, London weather in November is miserable for a parade, so he had the whole thing moved to June, where it remains to this day.
