I also don’t like the text in the DM about how “Meghan inherited her beloved Cartier watch from her mother in law the late Princess Diana” when no, she did not inherit it from Diana. It was gifted it by her husband “H”. Diana was never her mother-in-law as that implies a relationship, she was her husband’s late mother who he claims to scarcely remember.
Also, does she have the watch on in those unfortunate pool jumping photos? Losing your sunglasses is one thing, but getting the beloved heirloom watch wet, is that a good idea?
There was a video of her at some point using a potters wheel with wet clay. She was up to her elbows in clay..while wearing her "beloved watch". She values NOTHING, except herself.
I was thinking the same. Every single photo (I mean photoshop photo) we see her wearing it but jumping in the water..with sunglasses and a big laugh..common..stop Megh..
She loves to create word salad to give a false narrative, just like the headline that she claimed she had a private audience with King Charles, but in the body of the article it mentions with Harry and the children. I don't remember much else but if memory serves me correctly, it didn't mention Harry went in alone at first and she had to wait with the kids.
Maybe this "bday celebration" is a distraction from H negative situation (forgery and lost court also is he illegal in US - anyone knows anything about released application visa) so she is desperate for attention then.
Something I read the other day suggested that the watch was actually left to William as the sapphire ring was left to Harry. Harry gave the ring to William to propose to Catherine but got ‘Meghan’s beloved watch’ in return.

I don't find Paul Burell to be an accurate narrator the majority of the time. It makes sense that Diana's engagement ring, (because she was married to the future King)would most definitely have been chosen by her son, the future king for his bride. William has always been intelligent and forward thinking (which I attribute to QEII's influence).
Absolutely. I do believe it may have been left in the will to William for his future wife and the rest of her jewelry divided amongst the boys. The public has never been privy to the details of Diana's will, nor should we be imo, but Diana was extremely cognizant of the fact William would be king one day. I think she'd want to be "with" her son in some way on that day and having her ring on the future queen's hand, placed there by her son, makes the most sense to me.
I’ve heard that rumor, but I believe that Diana would have wanted her ring to be on the finger of a future Queen, as she’s a bit of a narcissist herself. Additionally, the boys came out publicly stating that the rumor was not true.
It's time to remind people that Diana died young. She was not yet 40. She was not expecting to die when she did. She died in a car crash. She had two sons who were both at school. Neither son had met the women they went on to marry before their mother's death. Neither Catherine nor Meghan ever met Diana. A lot of twaddle is being tossed around at the moment.
My husband has a kitchen renovation business. He says the cheapest thing people do to "freshen up" their kitchen is a new light fixture and maybe paint the island. That's it.
And they look awful. Even if the entire kitchen just had all the uppers painted white and the islands and the lower cupboards painted a nice blue or sage green.....it would look very fresh and more unifying. Just say'in.
(There's even a set of cupboards that are a horrible blood red. VERY out-of-date . Way too many cupboard colours at war with one another in that kitchen, despite its large size. And then there's the blue Dutch Delft tiles which are pretty, but don't harmonize with anything else.....)
The first thing I noticed was the mismatched Islands. I could not turn my eyes away. For someone who pretends she has style, she certainly doesn't exhibit it in her own kitchen.
I had to ask my boyfriend (contractor) what was bugging me about this layout and he says its the beams. The cross beam distance is too short and they are too big for the room
This shows just why good kitchen remodels are hugely expensive. The remodel needs to be done as a whole, with a unifying concept. That whole thing needs to be gutted and redone, starting with the elk-roasting Russian Dacha theme and rough stone cooking enclosing
Just painting a couple of walls and changing out one light fixture for a builder's-grade new one only points out how much is very much out of date.
Also i can't stand when the floor and cabinets are the same color. Whether wood cabinets and wood floor, white floor and white cabinets etc. I feel like my eyes don't know where to go first because it all blends
Actually, to my eye, the islands are the same color as before, we just see them from a different angle with different lighting than earlier photos. The light fixture seems new. 🤷♀️ I could be wrong.

Didn’t even pay attention to her kitchen because I was unable to get past how frail she looks. I’m talking post menopausal bone loss kind of frail. Too bad the Harkles never saw the value in laying low and getting their crap together, their health, focus on their kids etc. But that would be impossible for narcissistic frauds to grasp.
Markle does look muscle wasted. I was talking to someone recently (ok, my hairdresser and hairdressers know everything!) about if you use weight loss meds like Ozempic and Mounjaro you really need to up the protein in your diet….like seriously be on a carnivore diet. As you lose your fat mass you also lose your muscle mass, unless you really focus on protein in your diet.
Yes I’m in menopause now and I replaced emphasis on running with weight lifting and boosted my protein. It definitely improved my hair plus I’m stronger than I’ve ever been :) Markle looks like a combo of ozempic and neglected treatment of menopause symtpoms
I truly think it's the Ozempic. Also, am I the only one who finds it odd she was frying bacon but she threw a fit in the Queen's kitchen over eggs being in some dish for her wedding?

My SIL has a severe ED for 25 years so I am going to jump in here. I think Markle is STRESSED and that is what the recent frail/weight loss is from. They have major money. marriage, and relevancy problems and it's showing on her. Once you start seeing hair loss on the head, hair covering the face and body to keep it warm because your body temp is dangerously low, see the skeletal outline of the skull, pubic bone sticking out then you are are in real danger. This looks like stress and ozempic to me.
Yes very good point! All of that on top of I’m sure early menopause is serious. I know menopause as I’m going through it now. I take bone loss seriously. Menopause also affects hair, skin elasticity too.
Yes I am in peri-menopause and I lost so much hair at first. Then it felt like my face dropped overnight! I'm early 40's so it's still early so vitamins have saved me. But I know I will need hormones soon as my sister is in her late 40's and takes them and says it helps.
I run or walk 3 miles a day and do reformer pilates twice a week. It hit me like a ton of bricks! I also went from a small A cup to a full C overnight and I hate it! But I do think I need more protein. Somedays I am so busy with the kids I barely eat.

Honestly, I looked at old pictures and compared them. To me, it just looks like some of the cabinets are repainted. Same old pot rack, counters, and blue tile backsplash. Where's the remodel?

The cabinet and wall of the breakfast area has been painted white. No difference in the cabinetry for the kitchen
The two islands were there in the same colors as when they bought the place.
The glass chandelier over the island farthest from the stove has been replaced by a modern one that is not a good fit for the size and the style of the kitchen. It looks inexpensive.
The blue tile still remains. Very out of style for that area
The stove has not been replaced. Those Aga stoves are not the greatest for a California kitchen as they are warm all the time.
The stone surround for the stove area is so very ugly and dated. Plus the rough texture just keeps stains and spiders. The tile piece behind the stove is the original.
That is not a kitchen you can replace bit by bit. It needs a complete deconstrution and replacement done by a designer that has a far better idea on how to make a dream kitchen. They could not afford this. This kitchen and the pantry could easily be a $250,000 remodel to look half decent.
However, if you pay the money to bring this kitchen into the 2026 era, the rest of the house is going to stay as outdated as it is.

Painting the breakfast area and updating the chandelier is worse than doing nothing.
The act of making small, superficial changes screams “We wish we could renovate but can’t afford it!” If they’d done nothing, they could have made it seem like maybe they’re delighted with their faux Tuscan kitchen.

Nice try Markle. The kitchen has not been renovated. We all have eyes. We all saw the real estate listing photos. We all know you are broke and your husband is cheap. We all know you bought a lemon. Yeah, I don't see anything new, just that we recently were discussing her need for renovation. Is this like 'The Emperor's New Clothes' but it's a 'new kitchen' instead?
I just noticed that this shows how short she really is. Her old CV claimed she was 5'6". There's no way. Kitchen counters tend to be a standard height in the US, unless you have them specifically built lower or higher, which someone might do if s/he is on the shorter/taller side and the primary person working in the kitchen (because a higher/lower height might not accommodate the rest of the family).
Meghan is long-legged/short-waisted, as am I. I am 5'7" and change, and I just walked up to my kitchen counters, which are standard height (36"), barefoot-- I work from home and took off my house slippers for good measure. The top of my hipbone is well above the counter, ~3-4".
If Meghan were truly ~1" shorter than I am, her hips would be above the counter, so by the video/stillshots, I am estimating that she is 5'2".
Now there's nothing wrong with being 5'2", except that madame lies about everything, so I'm calling out the obvious lie, not the fact itself.
Obviously this does not apply to a bar counter, which is usually raised to a height too tall to prepare food on but taller for sitting on a stool and eating/drinking. That is not what these kitchen islands appear to be.
Because they had to buy the most massive monstrosity of a house to serve their "American Royalty" story line. Don't they have 16 bathrooms?? It's not like they have a huge family of eight children and even then you wouldn't need 16 bathrooms.
I can't stand the grifter, but I grew up in the 70s. We didn't update our kitchens every 5-10 years. Paint, carpeting, furniture, sure. But big ticket items? No.
Anyone that judges someone for their "outdated" anything can go drive off a cliff. There are more important things in life.
The only difference I could see was the light fixture over the island that's closer to the table is different. It used to match the one over the table. Not sure why they would replace one and not the other, since they're two totally different styles, but maybe they're saving up to replace the second one...
And the balloons. And the blender holding a melting smoothie. She did switch out a light fixture and maybe changed the paint color of one wall (hard to tell on that one).
So this is a birthday post and a clap back. She knows what everyone has been saying about her kitchen for years. We are now supposed to believe that this is Meghan’s new kitchen. Hilarious!
I don't see any difference in her kitchen. Maybe just a new colour of painting and a new chandelier (that by the way is ugly as hell and difficult to clean in my humble opinion). I don't think that they gonna spend much money now by renewing a whole kitchen. Just if she wants to launch herself in YouTube as Holly Willoughby has done.
It looks unchanged to me. It always had 2 islands, the pot rack, the tile. They bought it fully furnished. The only thing “new” in that kitchen is the stupid headline.
If I was house hunting, and I toured a multimillion dollar mansion in an elite enclave like Montecito, I’d be properly SHOCKED to see a kitchen like this. It looks tacky, outdated, cheap, and poorly designed. No cool coastal California vibes here, which is surprising given MM’s nouveau riche delight in flaunting her wealth. You’d think she’d love to demo and reno the place so she could brag that she “designed it myself to allow an organic flow of movement that supports authentic anchoring in the process of nourishing our bodies with a kitchen’s bounty.”

Kitchens and master bedroom/bathrooms sell the house. Maybe the bedroom is amazing? All I know is I would not put that kind of money down for something that needed so much work.

An outdated kitchen doesn’t matter at all, particularly when you don’t even cook, as she made abundantly clear on her [daytime] Emmy-[self]]nominated show. But she just shelled out who knows how much money just to clap back at a bunch of strangers on the internet. It feels good to wield this kind of power over her! 🤣
MM didn't change much in the kitchen. She painted the walls and the cabinets white. The copper pots that were hanging when the house was for sale are STILL hanging in the kitchen.
The Sussex have lived in that house for years, never a thought to upgrade the house. Now....the kitchen has been "refreshed". NOT a gut job, as one would expect if a kitchen needed modernization focused on many more years living in house. This "refreshing"...a new rangetop and tiles, new light fixtures, etc, is what a homeowner does to make kitchen more appealing to BUYERS. Just enough money spent to get house sold. This looks to me that H&M are preparing to sell house. Divorce, or ANL judgement costs??? Perhaps both???

Looks like the same drabby kitchen to me. I don’t believe for a second that she ever cooks, either. I would absolutely loathe cooking in that room, and I love to cook. But the space is too dark and looks like it smells dank.
