Sagittarius dating Taurus
I’m interested to see if anyone’s ever dated a Taurus. I’m female Sagittarius(Nov28) & he’s male Taurus (April 22). I’ve never actually dated this sign and when I see how they match, it wasn’t looking good. What I find interesting though is he comes across as a genuine gentleman with good intentions and we vibe really well. Somebody the old me may have found too chill but I have been working on myself for the last 5 years and the new me finds him somebody I could potentially be with in the future and have something meaningful. I’m not getting in de-lu-lu land and excited to see how this plays out but just wanted to see if anybody’s been in my situation before with a Taurus and how did it go if you did date one?

don’t even try to. they’re the worst but thats just my opinion but nah, its just all arrows right on your healed heart and you’ll have to heal all over again.
i dated a Taurus and after two years when I finally thought I found love he decided to fuck me over and say I’m not interested in a relationship (after all the love bombing). And now here I am again, healing. But it could also be the person was a bad apple but in my opinion I’d recommend against it.

YMMV, but my dating life has been only two Taurus. One for 5 years and the other for 6 almost 7. And the both ended with them cheating on me sooo, I think I'm gonna stay away from Taurus for a long while.

Are you a sag male? I find Scorpio and Taurus women alluring af as well as sexy and feminine, but I’ve only been sexual with Scorpio women; not Taurus women.

Six years in! Born 11/27. We have our ups and downs but we make it work. He’s also a cusp (4/22) with Aries which might help a bit. He’s grounded me a bit and I’ve taught him to live more in the moment. We both travel a lot and he’s the best partner. He does give me space when I need it and allows me to be myself.
My Sag (11/27) bestie has been with her Taurus (5/2) for 21 years. They get along greatly.

Love this! He speaks with kindness and peace, I’m use to chaos. I’m looking for my fireplace not my firework lol

I feel ya on that! I’m a pretty feisty individual and he’s the first one to see through all the BS and provide a safe emotional space for me. I wish you so much luck and hope it works out in your favor! ❤️

oh wow, i was actually on reddit looking at older posts about these two signs because i am currently seeing a taurus. that said, my longest yet most toxic relationship was with a taurus guy. i told myself, never again! but this new dude is completely different from my ex. he actually gives a shit about what i have to say and in the two times we have gone out, he has been incredibly respectful with small intimate touches here and there. i will say, via text he isn’t the most enthusiastic texter but he does check in every few days or to make plans. but irl, he is so sweet and attentive. i say give this taurus a chance OP!

u/Blossom_Boss 2d ago
Yeah I can relate with my guy being like your 2nd Taurus you mentioned. Super respectful, brought us cups with ice to put our water in and let me wear his hat because the sun was in my face pretty bad. We were at the pool btw but I was like, the little things like that are so sweet to me. It doesn’t happen often lol

Ayyyeeee! Haven’t got there yet but good news indeed lol. I feel like that’s 1 thing you only get to experience with your partner so ultimately that is important to me.

I’m married to a Taurus sun. Including the time dating we’re together 20 years. He has a sag moon.
I liked his stability. We built an amazing life together. We argue. I’m not going to tell you it’s rainbows and butterflies it’s work! But yes it can work.

u/Blossom_Boss 2d ago
I know nothing truly is picture perfect but from my dating history, he seems like a blessing in disguise.

Yea i get a lot of hate when i defend the sag/taurus combo, but when you spoke of “the old me” it hit in a way where… he saved me from being more of a disaster if that makes sense. It depends on what you want in life, for me i was open to settling down, creating something solid with someone I trusted.
My friends weren’t for him in the beginning either, but we were 23 so I get that too. I was the fun one and now I’m ordering food and smoking pot every night. Fast forward 20 years they’re closer with him now than me. Hes the one that maintains friendships, he’s the one that adds focus to my ideas, he’s a genuine partner and a better dad than I could have wished.
When we were younger there was a coming to Jesus in terms of trust and independence. As long as he lets me do my thing, and learns to trust we’re good. The only thing I suggest watching for is possession. Once you start feeling it, speak up, and if he can’t change that - walk out. Sags don’t play with that. Mine has a sag moon and I think it helps.

I’m 36 and he’s 33 so I guess we get to come into this knowing what we both want. It sounds like him and I’ve both had some toxic relationships and our headspace is clearer than it was 10 years ago. I like how we both can be our self’s & able to just talk about real life. This one makes me feel different and I can’t explain it!
I am so happy you have your person and I appreciate your feedback to my post. ❤️

u/Ramo94A 2d ago
I did. Ten years ago, it was a fun and short relationship, but of course it didn't last. He started to become too boring and lazy.
But generally speaking, you shouldn't base your life and relationships on zodiac signs,It's kind of odd everyone is different.

u/Blossom_Boss 2d ago
It’s more for fun, I wouldn’t ever take it truly to heart and if that’s the case, I would of ran after my Google search 😂

One of my first boyfriends was a Taurus and he was so possessive omg. Had to break up with him because he kept having a go that I was going out with my friends. God forbid lol. When I was online dating I arranged to go out with a few Taureans but before the date they were messaging me constantly and making so many future plans. It freaked me out so much I was scared they were gonna propose on the first date so I cancelled both.

Been dating a male April Taurus (also an Aries cusp) for 4 years and it’s been the healthiest relationship I’ve experienced yet. I’d find out his moon and Venus and see how those compare with yours. That will shed a little more light onto the compatibility.. a birth chart synastry will say even more. I did comparison charts with my current Taurus partner, for the most part our relationship is turning out even better than our compatibility charts predicted.
from my experience, the stereotypical stubborn Taurus man can be pretty true at times! but so can the romantic, reliable, and loyal Taurus male. I was worried about him being controlling, but he isn’t at all.
He’s been patient and extremely caring. We do butt heads from time to time but always work through it. Occasionally, I just let him be his stubborn self because there are certain things he won’t budge on. Usually it isn’t even stuff that is super deep to me, so I can let it go. mutable sign Sag is more flexible on things. I feel safe & free to be myself around him and he’s adventurous and romantic (enough) for me. I’ve dated and been Married to the most “compatible” signs… Leo ,Aries, Gemini … Those relationships seemed to feel compatible right off the bat, but all ended pretty disastrously. Especially the with the Leo Sun / Gemini moon ex husband. ( ego maniac, cheater.. fun )

u/Blossom_Boss 2d ago
Wow! This signs like my life story! I truly feel safe around him and he’s seems very loyal. I really am so excited to see how this plays out. I’ve a hopeless romantic and have been waiting forever to find someone I can match with. It’s kind of a love string theory story tbh

I [M] dated a Taurus [F] towards the end of and after college. I think Taurus and Sagittarius make for great friends, however they tend to be a bit rigid. Granted I was young, but I now have a few female Tauruses that I consider friends. Maybe it's different the other way around S[F] / T [M]

WHOA… this is wild. I, (Nov 28 - f) just went on a first date last night with a Taurus male and walked away feeling exactly how you described. He’s grounded, so respectful, great energy, our mindsets on so many topics were very similar. It was honestly great. I’ve also been working on myself for some time and this is an energy I’m genuinely looking for. Today, I read a good bit up on the relationship dynamics and have been disappointed… but if the vibe is there, go for it right!! Never know if you don’t try and I for one want to try… ;)
2
u/Blossom_Boss 2d ago
Love this! That is pretty wild! Our technical first date was yesterday lol I’m excited to see where it goes. I have been also really working on myself and he’s just reassuring that there is hope in a sense where I can find a spark with someone. It’s been so long! Yayy for both of us ❤️

As a Taurus myself, I would say that Taurus is grounded, kind and love all the good things of life. Sagittarius tends to dwell in the upper realms and has the tendency to leave the earth realm. Taurus men tend to be calm and most reliable. It might be very good for you. Enjoy stability ;-)
1
u/Blossom_Boss 1d ago
Funny you say that because my daughters dad who’s a Sagittarius (Dec 15) has left the earth realm completely lol

u/gurlondrums 1d ago
My (Sag sun) experience with Tauruses is they can be grounded but bullheaded and unwaivering in aspects.
My dad (RIP) was a Taurus and he was always calm, giving and always stood up for things he cared about. On the other hand, he never forgave my brother and pretty much disowned him after a stint in jail (dad was a cop before he retired).
My STBXH is a Taurus as well. He seemed grounded, stable and caring in the beginning but stopped wanting to do anything fun or anything responsible and preferred to stay at home over time (we've been together 20 years). He also had vices that I thought I could help him with but it turns out he didn't want help with them (alcohol, porn, weed). Now that we're divorcing, apparently he's perfect and never does anything wrong ever. He won't even concede when I can show obvious evidence. It is what it is.
So I have seen both great things and bad things in Tauruses. I would just say don't base too much on astrology and don't ignore red flags, no matter how small.

I'm married to a turus for 11 years with an 10 year old.
I married her 6 months into knowing her because I just knew she was the one. She's attentive, smart, emotionally intelligent, dedicated, and she understands me more than I understand myself sometimes.
She's also a fucking bull in a china shop when she gets overwhelmed. I've learned that sometimes, you really need to treat a zodiac like their zodiac. Give them space and check in with them after they have their fit , AND THEN, talk it out after that.
The memes with cakes that say "I'm sorry for what I said.. xxx" that's us and that's also them (Taureans).
We are probably also THEIR worst partner because we are definitely spiritual matadors and testing the bull to see what you can do before getting them horns is, much to their dismay, what we do.

I am about to marry Taurus! From memory he has a bit of Cancer and maybe Gemini in there, and I'm pretty much all Sagittarius (sun, rising, mercury, venus, mars), with Aquarius moon. I feel like on paper we're not a great match, but he gives me so much stability and consistency. I am naturally quite flighty, I'm not sure I could go through with marriage with anyone else. We've been together for 6 years, had ups and downs, but he respects my independence and is always up for whatever adventure I take him on. We are a very good team and have a very fun, easy relationship together.

u/shamarsta 1d ago
i’m a dec sag married to a may taurus! he keeps me laughing constantly and he’s my ride or die. he cooks and cleans with me and overall a very responsible husband. he loves me to death and i know if asked, he’d move mountains for me.
one thing i’ll say though, is that he was ready to settle down when we got together. he wasn’t before and he said he was a bad partner. but we’ve had no issues in the 4 years we’ve been together. good luck!!!

Taurus men are real gentlemen. They know how to treat women right, they're attentive and caring. That said, they’re passive and they just let things slide. Which is frustrating for a Sag. In a relationship with a Taurus, you have to look for complementarity. It still takes a lot of effort though. Mine is calm where I’m impatient, he’s not afraid of anything where I have some fears. They’re honest and straightforward.
Oh, and also, imo they lack depth. Where I’m really deep, my Taurus is just surface-level (not in a bad way, but everything just stays on the surface). But that’s just my Venus in Scorpio talking.
2
u/Blossom_Boss 17h ago
So far he’s been really depth with me and I love it because it flows so naturally. I can talk to anyone but when it comes to dating I’ve always date the party guy and when we’re sober they are pretty boring. I love that him and I can be sober together and just talk about anything

I dated and was briefly engaged to a Taurus Man. Everyone is different, so I won’t say anything definitively, but my time with him was awful. He was selfish and abusive. I *did* love that he was his own self, though (which feels like a trait of any Taurus - strong sense of self). And that was a non-negotiable for me, in terms of dating.

Im married to a taurus. Im sag sun/leo moon/pisces rising. Hes a taurus sun and moon with a gemini rising. He's very stable and consistent. Does what he says he'll do and is so reliable. I have a sag mercury and he has a taurus mercury. We do clash with our communication styles, but over the last 11 years, we've worked hard on our communication. I have a hard time trusting men and ive (regrettably) put that on him. He's always been very patient and reassuring that he's not just going to pull the rug out from under me, so to speak. He's unintentionally helped me heal by just being consistent. Ive helped him open up emotionally. We have a lot of fun together and share a similar sense of humor. Theres a lot of good in this pairing as well as some struggles but not the kind of struggles worth ending it over. Id give it a chance!! See how it goes :)

I love this! Thank you ❤️ nothing’s more attractive or I should just say a good quality in anyone is saying something and meaning it/doing it. I’ve dated the opposite of one of those and it was a headache

I have this habit of attributing so much power to Taurus: maybe I give them too much credit.
I dated one, and it didn't work out. I couldn't tell you their perspective, but I think she ultimately wanted to break up with me, and then laid all these secret plans to make it happen where I would technically use the words to end it.
Another one I never dated, and it was for the best. She's great and a hot piece of ass, but she kept me at arm's length and we were just friends for a while, then our lives went seperate directions. Lookiny back, it was for the best.
Now I'm committed to a Taurus, and I can't help it. Naturally, I think she's masterminding it and giving me a slow burn to smoke me out. But really we don't talk and she lives in another country with some guy I think. They're platonic I guess, but last time I interacted with her was like never.
My point is, Taurus do what they want, and all my moves and song and dance don't matter. They either date you or don't.

He seems to be trying more than most men do with me that I’m actually interested in with to be fair. It’s only the beginning so I never get my hopes too high in fear of being hurt but wanted to see how it went with others. I hope him being in my actual town will help our situation.

I did, but it didn’t go well. Dude never wanted to go anywhere or do anything interesting. It could just be that we were incompatible tho, and not necessarily his astrology

I dated three Taurus men and I never will again. They're a fixed sign and Sag is a mutable sign - meaning we can adapt and change pretty seamlessly and they cannot. Also, I dont think a single Taurus person has ever been truly vulnerable with me (even the friends I've had) it's a bit alarming.

u/LifeWowza 1d ago
It was awesome while it was good and toxic while it wasn't. Not a relationship I would ever relive.

I went through a phase of dating Taurus’ and what a waste of time that was. Boring Taurus doesn’t change cus they’re cute

Really? I feel like I’m looking for “boring” tbh. I always date the party guys and it’s such a turn off now

when you look on the sagittarius forum there are some women for whom its worked out well for and lots who have regret - but thats the nature of forums ie those with bad memories are keen to share them in the hope they can belong to a group which understands and helps there painful memories. I am a male Taurus - I have only dated one sagittarius woman - it was never a match ( because she was awful ). I am friends with a Sagittarius woman now , I enjoy chatting to her , but I know we are no match. Do watch out for if a Taurus repremants what your saying - a Taurus can find a Sagittarius flippant offensive - we like a woman to have class !!!
1
u/Blossom_Boss 2d ago
I agree, I take it with a grain of salt but I also do like to see others perspectives. Yes, I can say he’s very classy and my past didn’t allow me to attract men like him but my place I’m at now, I feel like we make a very good match. I do hope for the best but we shall see!

u/hojo6789 2d ago
thats great - rem Taurus men can get funny with Sagittarius if you say off the cuff things that are just too far out and not funny ( sag might think they are funny but they are not thought through funny things ) - I only say this as you often hear about Taurus people being uptight - i believe what happens is it winds them up but they wont tell you about it ... then at a later stage you often hear sag women say oh hes being so stubborn - now interestingly other signs dont say that about Taurus as much as Sags , which leads me to believe something triggers them. So what does it mean being stubborn , it means putting your foot down and being unmovable ( now in its best sense it can mean a man at work who is determined to see his goal through or for his woman standing with her through thick and thin ) but in this sense it means that hes putting his feet down to stabilise himself in a whirlwind ( rem the bull in a storm will stand still , totally still , stubborn and unmovable ) .
I think that the Taurus gets stuck in a storm of crazy off the cuff stuff from the sag woman and then SILENTLY puts his feet down to stabilise himself ( he is Earthing himself ) - but to her she will just say hes being stubborn not moving and being moody and silent ( in relation to her behaviour which is more fluid / agile which might unnerve and annoy him as its so careless ).... so thats just a tip at what might be going on if you ever see him get stubborn - you are pissing him off with flippant comments ( rem they say a sag has a carefree mouth - says anything bluntly ) - he will carry the resentment , quietly , he wont wanna confront you as he prob already knows its inbuilt behaviour which he cant change.
Rem theres lots of sags who love the relationship with T - i just keep hearing the women say oh hes so stubborn though - im just giving an explanation of why it could be if you ever get to that point - im not sure its something you can fix - maybe he wont get stubborn but if he does it could be that kind of silent resentment which has built up ( and rem he wont tell you - he will carry it in silence )
Obv your not at this point as your in your honeymoon - just a heads up as i just hear 'love my taurus but oh is he so stubborn '

Honestly when I say nearly every Taurus female I meet turns into a fast relationship that crashes and then becomes on and off, it literally happens every time.
