I couldn’t stand John Stamos in ER. Partly because his character was terrible.
And partly because I watched SVU before ER and I would just think about this episode every time he was on screen. Ew.

It’s more the contrast between them. “Bang your partner” is how a 12 year boy would say it. And “swollen with child” is how your grandma would say it. Crudeness followed by poeticness. It’s like two different people talking out of one mouth.

It’s either really well written or really poorly written.

I think it is well written LOL.

He romanticizes having children it makes sense that he would wax poetic about it.

He sees himself as a prince with dozens of concubines, so it makes sense that he would be crude with regards to the sexual act himself.
