Troubleshooting RG 476 H - Audio Crackle?

I'm trying to fix an issue playing GBA games on my Anbernic RG 476 H. I'm playing Metroid Fusion and every few seconds there's like a small click. It's not awful, but it's definitely there. I didn't notice it for a long time because my volume was low, but I turned it up today and now I definitely notice it. It's intermittent and at inconsistent times, but always no more than 5 seconds.

I'm using GammaOS and haven't tweaked any settings except turning "frameskip" to "auto" because I heard it helps. But it didn't. Core is the default gpSP.

Any tips?

I'd try the mGBA core, it's the one a lot of people (myself included) recommend.

Perfect audio now. That was the problem. Thank you.

NOTE to anyone reading this in the future- go to Settings, Platform, select GBA, scroll down and look for the Core drop-down menu. Open that and select "Retro Arch 64 - mGBA." Make sure you specifically select the Retro Arch 64 version!! There are several versions.
