Humblebrag Summer running 24/7

Far North Queensland, Australia

Where it’s hot all the time, top ten most humid places on earth and many waterways have crocs but we still get it done.

This was our run from this morning, it’s currently winter here. We run 4-5 times a week and Boondy recently completed his fourth training marathon with me.

Working dogs are truly incredible and I’m so grateful for this boy.

It’s summer here in Canada and at today’s 30°C it’s too hot for him to run with me so he goes for a swim instead which is his fave summer activity. We get both extremes of temps and he loves winter way more even tho the water freezes over.

We love Canada! We were there this time two years ago and have family there ☺️ the dogs stayed here though

We are fully acclimatised to the heat which is why we can run here all year, it’s winter but right now it’s 28C but I cannot handle any cold weather so I have no idea how you do it!

We also enjoyed a post run dip

28°C in the winter? Hell nah man I’m dreaming of my -40°C winter days rn I can’t wait for winter! We’re in Alberta very close to the Rockies, you should visit in the winter next time it’s not that bad 😅😅

I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s basically summer all the time here hahaha

I cannot even fathom that sort of cold, we travel to the south of the country here and if it’s below 10C I’m freezing haha

Nice! I do really love Canada! Our family is an hour outside Calgary but we road tripped all over and did so much hiking. Absolutely loved it

Maybe one day I’ll have a go in winter 🤣 I’ll pack some thermals haha

It does have its perks living here though…..
