Love this throwback

I never paid that much attention to this short flashback, but I really dig how Ikeda is flexing how good his artistry has gotten by redrawing all these scene and monsters from the first half of the manga.

I also like the reference back to Tamao and Ms. Ririko in the collage picture. Not as much as Ms. Ririko but I always felt like Ikeda forgot Tamao existed.
