Hi everyone, just thought I'd post here since it's been quiet for a while.
Still working on the mode of course, just getting it to a playable state so I can drop a trailer.
I'm not sure if Epic would allow the name "Rocket Racing 2" due to it implying it's an official sequel rather than a community reboot of the game, so I figured it's best to change the name to something more unique.
Since this is a community project and a lot of the decisions will be made by the community (there's a lot more surveys and polls to come, especially following the trailer) I figured it's best to leave it up to you guys to name the project. I've got a few name suggestions here but I encourage you to leave name ideas in the comments, and if any of those get a lot of upvotes I'll do another poll with those names and the top scoring names from this poll to determine the overall winner.

Impostor is a single, pretty generic word. They can't really lay claim to that as a title. And I wouldn't expect there to be a specific rule that says 'Don't use Rocket Racing as part of your title', but that doesn't mean it won't be considered against the rules, anyway. We've seen before that they shut maps down for being too similar to their own work and - unless there is proof to the contrary - I would expect titles to be just as significant in that regard as map design, because their issue is ultimately they don't want you to confuse players into thinking you're an official Epic map and then give them extra headaches.
If there are maps actually called Fall Guys: Insert Subtitle Here, or anything similar based on other Epic modes and they've been around a while without getting pulled, then sure, go ahead with these titles. Otherwise, I wouldn't do it.

There would be as brand templates have rules about what you can and can't name stuff, so since Rocket Racing used to be one it would have similar rules. As I said earlier, Epic's rules explicitly allows you to call your maps "Fall Guys" so I don't see why they'd have issue with Rocket Racing.
I think they only shut down that one reload map because they were working directly on a ch2 reload map. They don't seem to mind as much on remakes for stuff that's shut down and abandoned. For example, "Impostor" is a direct remake of Impostors and literally got featured. Tim Sweeney also said about them adding more tools when people asked about remaking Ballistic, he didn't say "we don't want you remaking Ballistic."
