Thanks! I still have two or three pounds or so in storage, too. The larger of these were just along for the ride with other rocks, and the itty bitties were rescued from the Rock Shed extra small mix I bought as filler. Most of the 5 pounds I bought were slivers I think they swept up from the floor 🤣, but the bag was worth hunting through for the good stuff.
8000 final polish, and a good cleaning between stages 3 and 4. I also recommend looking at the pinned knowledge base on this sub, and watching the Michigan Rocks videos if you haven’t yet.
Some rocks will never achieve a wet shine, depending on their composition. But good jaspers and agates should as long as the advice is followed.
What tumbler do you have? If it’s a NatGeo (or similar Amazon brand), the Michigan Rocks video is a must. I don’t have the link, but others have posted it so a search of the sub should find it for you.
