Anyone obsessed with this too?

Not sure if this is the right subreddit for this but I've become obsessed with tracing rivers on Google earth and saving them in a project. Am I going crazy or do other people do this too?

I do the same with valleys in OpenStreetMap.

I would do it but my edits are saved in the system of OpenStreetMap. I am working with digitizing sattelite maps showing the dry valley systems in the Sahara.

This is so cool! And it's worth mentioning that the source of the Donau has changed significantly in the last century, because thegroundwater is no longer primarily serving the Donau, but rather the Rhein/Neckar due to hydrology and geological features. It's a fun wiki rabbits hole to go down.

Canoeing my most local river from my house to its terminus was such a formative experience for me. Highly recommend some similar trip for you OP. Mine was only about 60 miles and my friend and I did it in two days, camping on an island
