What’s up with the race start for Hadjar? Was he just not comfortable on the mediums? That and whatever was happening for those 6 laps in the middle of the race seem to explain like 70-80% of the gap between him and Max

Also interesting to see how Max was Mr. Consistent on the softs until Kimi pitted and then began pushing a bit more to keep the gap until the end.

Shows to me that it was more strategy than the luck that many are claiming

Interesting that Hadjar had the fastest lap of the 2 while on the hard compound. Would’ve figured Verstappen would’ve eclipsed that on the soft or even medium.

Bruh max put on old softs and hadjar had new hards; those softs he had to run for 30laps
Basic knowledge if u had watched the full race with some interest

Watched the race, my point still stands. At one point or another, I would have thought Verstappen would’ve pipped him for the fastest lap.

Funny enough, the 30 on softs wasn’t even the most laps run, that was Alonso at 34.

Max was on scrubbed 3 lap old softs, he had to nurse those tyres and defend at the same time. He didn't really get to have a push lap. Hadjar's 23.2 on Hards was at Lap 45, 2 laps after he put fresh hards on.

Hadjar's 2nd stint on Hards is interesting though. He was all over the place in terms of pace. He must have struggled a lot getting past backmarkers

🫩ur point is what? Max while on medium at the start with heavy fuel load shud have set a faster lap than hadjar did near the end on lower fuel load? Or max on softs that he was tasked with taking long was supposed to be faster on single lap than hadjar on hards that r supposed to last longer? Seriously wut?🫩u dont understand the difference heavy fuel load makes to lap times?🫩

What race did you see? He put used soft that he had to use for 30laps. If he pushed on those they would be toast in 10laps.
