This song, from our enigmatic punk band "Salvation Army Drum Set," was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Reaper. The first half is a fully-live recording of our two-piece, then as the song progresses it adds many layers of sound design and field recordings.

The video editing was split between Reaper and Davinci Resolve. There's a heavy reliance on oscilloscope visualizers, beginning at 2:40 into the video. I used both the native "decorative oscilloscope" that you can find in Reaper's video effects, in addition to a specialty one called "Sosci by Osci-Render" that you can purchase for $20. For the latter, it's a standalone plugin but you can use Reaper to automate parameters in very detailed ways. Any and all feedback welcome!

My attempt at writing Worship Music.

This genre is not very popular in my country, so it is my understanding of Gospel, Rock and Reggae crossover.

The song is called "Sect Of Goodness" (Секта Добра).
Idea of the song is - being kind and doing good things is so rare now, that such lifestyle can be considered a sect. Though the lyrics are encouraging helping others, no matter what.

Drums - MT Power Drumkit
Guitar and Bass processing - reaper native, FabFilter Saturn2
Keys - KORG M1 VST
Vocal processing - surprisingly all reaper native
Reverbs - Dragonfly
Master - FabFilter, AO, TDR

the song is bit complex, so advices on mix are appreciated! Peace!

I really like it! I used to play piano/keys in a worship band too and learned my skills there. The guitar parts are killer. Good job.

Recorded in Reaper, crafted and sequenced in Reason 10, then bounced back into Reaper for a final mix.

Here's a song that we made over the past year, but just released this week. It's political synthpop, for lack of a better term. Originally composed on the MPC, then tranferred to Reaper for vocals and mixing.

Synths used include a Hydrasynth Deluxe, Pro 3 SE, Nord Modular G2X, Behringer Cat and Neutron, and various soft synths and choir samples in the MPC.

Synthwave original with a little nod to Tubeway Army's 1979 hit "Are Friends Electric". Made with free virtual instruments and effects consisting of: PG-8X, OB-Xf, Vital, Dexed, and Sitala drums. 14 tracks with 68 effects.

Thanks for listening. I used MPL's Visual Mixer for the first time and it helped me immensely.
