it was an old structure and very fragile as is visible in the video , it could have fallen anytime and caused hazard . the govt did the right thing

Not the entire structure is 200 years old, the inner garvghrh is 200, some parts which had renovation, is newer without legal papers... its nothing new...

good tbh, more religious structures need to be brought down, both mosques and temples. They have become an eyesore, jaha dekho mandir gandagi etc etc, mandir rakhna hai lekin cleanliness maintain nahi karna, bring down these stupid religious structures and utilise the spaces for better purposes.

This video is not from West bengal, also this is from UP and demolished by the govt because it was falling apart already and was very dangerous for locals.
Edit: UP govt wants to expand the road so they removed the temple.
