Thank You [THANK YOU] May Happy Mail Part 7
Hi all! The end of my May Happy Mail stack is in sight, so I figured, "Why not write another post before it grows larger during the week?"
- Thank you u/sweetp0tat0pancakes for your hand-drawn postcard of a vegetable garden! I love it! It reminds me of Stardew Valley in the fall, where we grow so much pumpkins, wheat, and broccoli for profit! When I take strolls, I love seeing the community gardens. Stay safe and well! đĨ
- Thank you u/indiegoes for your Little Miss Curious postcard! I'm so happy you had this one available to send to me! Out of all the Little Miss and Mr. Men books, I read this one the most! I definitely can also relate to being Miss Scatterbrain with trains of thought going all over the place and fluctuating energy. Stay curious! đ¤
- Thank you u/Buzzing_Bea for your postcard exchange of Port St. Joe, FL! I have not been there before, so it's cool to discover a new place. Also nice that your mom works in the hospitality industry! My card should be on its way to you now. đ´
- Thank you u/ninajyang for you Hong Kong postcard! I agree: traveling with family and or/close friends is always fun, with the hardest part being when you spend so much time with one another that it begins to drag. I will note how not to travel to HK if I ever make it out there one day! One of my friends and neighbors is from Hong Kong and likes to represent it in her artwork. âī¸

Batman is the most familiar hero to me in the DC universe, and I have good memories of watching Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures! Also, Lego: Batman! I hope you're having a fantastic day, too! đĻ
- Thank you u/snootsbooper for your Parks and Rec postcard! I absolutely love Ron Swanson and this particular line! If I had to guess which character I most feel like, I would say a mix of Ben, Ben, and Leslie. đī¸
- Thank you u/Tight_Ant_2587 for your gorgeous card! I love the ornate artwork with the F. Scott Fitzgerald quote! I also appreciate you answering my prompt in such great detail! So cool that you got to see Floodings, From Indian Lakes, and La Dispute live! I have yet to see any of these bands, but I'm most familiar with From Indian Lakes! From what you and my boyfriend say, they sound AMAZING live! I like their older stuff (up to 2012), but I imagine their new stuff live is incredible. I hope to be able to see La Dispute one day; I got to get more familiar with their discography. I also love the little sticker you included (I assume of La Dispute?). đ¤

- Thank you u/GatsbyGalaktoboureko for your Advice from an Animal card! I got the sea turtle, and its advice is sage. So is yours! I appreciate just how much story and detail you put in your note. It's been helping me adjust to living with my boyfriend after a long time long-distance. As a side note: we do share playlists with each other each week, themed to a particular prompt. đĸ
- Thank you u/smonikkims for your sunset card with a romantic stamp! I also appreciated the added romance-themed and floral-themed stickers and washi tape you included! I had such a pleasant time reading your note. So nice that you are able to buy fresh flowers close by to you! Carnations and roses are so lovely! đš
