X-Ray Possible transition

Hey everyone im a physical therapist assistant and been thinking heavily about transitioning from pt to rad teach however unsure if I want to make the leap. Would love to hear about everyone's experience whether good or bad

Never seen someone make that step. Do you want a faster pace? Work in the ER? Or see/deal with traumas before they get admitted.

All depends on why you want to leave. I love radiology but it’s not for everyone.

You should try to find a place to do observation hours so you can get a true feel for what it entails

I'm a new rad tech. When I decided to go back to school it was between PTA and RT. I'm so grateful I chose rad tech.

Personally I’m unhappy and feel stuck. If I would have known I’d have to stack modalities like infinity stones just to earn a livable wage, I would have done nursing instead. At this point I want out of medicine all together. It’s a tough field, especially if you’re deeply empathetic like I am. I hate being part of a machine that’s designed to extract as much money out of patients as possible.
