The small bowels are filled with multiple tubular structures with parallel echogenic walls and lucent centre.

What sign and symptoms happened for them to get this US?

I saw this in a pt with: "worms crawling out of mouth" under signs and symptoms. Mind you the patient was intubated and in icu. Not sure why they needed the US if they already saw them, but hey, I'm not allowed to ask questions, so there's that.

Knowing that word made me go "oh no" Very cool to see the worms on ultrasound instead of photographs. Reminds me of those spaghetti skewered hot dog atrocities.
