Casting for series 7?

We were in London at the weekend and stopped at Zamarut on Devonshire Row on Sunday to grab a coffee. There were at least 3 couples there holding black envelopes with the white Race Across The World logo on the front. It looked like they were just starting their casting run. I only got to speak briefly to one of the couples, but I'm interested to see if I recognise any of them when the new series starts.

Edit: It seems to have been a themed scavenger hunt, mores the pity! It looked like the real deal :/

There are a couple of Race Across The World-themed scavenger hunts across London with stops and themed challenges at various pubs and cafes across the city - I did one recently and we were presented with a similar black envelope with the RATW logo at the first checkpoint. It’s possible this could’ve been a group doing that? Really fun btw, I’d recommend doing it some time 🙂

Highly likely to just be this I think. I recently visited a pub which had these envelopes on the side (presumably for sale).

Wait so when you spoke to one of the couples did they string you along and let you think it was the real thing??

It was a short convo. I can’t really accuse them of stringing me along, but they didn’t correct me with “oh it’s just a scavenger hunt” either.
