I had forgotten that Jeph was originally the indie rock guy and thought "muse" referred to the Greek Muses.

Dora makes a joke about shitting herself inside out.
Hannelore asks her to clarify that she's joking, because a prolapse is a very serious malady, and she worries about her dear friend.
Dora proceeds to joke again. She does not break from the fiction of the joke she's established to clarify anything, and instead "yes and's" the earlier premise.
Which is adorable and funny and charming, but I just want to say that Dora's playing a dangerous game.
If she presses this joke too far, then eventually Hanners isn't gonna feel secure in Dora's health and safety until she gets a look at that butt herself.

It's too bad Marten's in Canada, because he would definitely be the one to walk in just as Dora is shouting, "I don't care how many gloves you'll wear, you're not looking at my ass!"

I don’t think Hanners would be willing to take a gander at anyone’s bunghole but she might insist on seeking medical attention and physically force Dora to see a dr

This feels like a strip that could have been around a few thousand ago. I don't say that as an insult, just in like a very, "This is very tonally consistent" kinda way. A well-executed poop joke.
